Robin did a fabulous job for us, refitting a large utility room in a very old building with cupboards, worktops, electrical points and a sink. His price was very competitive, he was thoroughly professional and courteous in all his dealings with us and his standards of workmanship exceptional. I would have no reservations in recommending him and we would be very happy to work with him again.

Robin has done an amazing job of refurbishing elderly wooden windows and gable end in our 400 year old cottage with skill and sympathy for the building. Old houses are full of sometimes nasty surprises and the amount of work needed on some of the frames was far more than we thought. Robin's care and attention to detail during the refurbishment means that we can be confident that they will last for many years to come. Frames refurbished, broken glass panes and missing lead replaced - the cottage hasn't looked this good for a long time. He completed the work as promised despite some of the worst weather this winter, and I have no hesitation at all in recommending him if you have a job which is out of the ordinary. Thank you Robin!

Very positive. Robin arrived exactly on time as promised and worked solidly throughout the day. He made an excellent job of replacing a rotted window cill using first-rate materials. He left his work site tidy, clearing up after his work. I would have no hesitation about recommending Mr Cook and would certainly use his services again.

I’m delighted with the work that Robin has done for us in our new Kitchen and Utility rooms. He visited us to discuss requirements while the rooms were still being constructed, and agreed on the details for the installation. He provided a detailed quote quickly and was available to fit in with our build program. On-site he had some challenges due to other contractors over-running but worked around this. He was very conscientious and asked plenty of questions to make sure he got everything how we wanted. Despite some mismatches between the Ikea carcasses and the bespoke Holte doors Robin managed to get everything looking perfect. He also came up with a great solution to fill in an awkward gap, and we now have a concealed unit for a towel rail. I know Robin had some major issues with his van during the time he worked on our project, but this did not interfere with his work and he was always on-site at the agreed time and worked without a break all day! It’s reassuring to find a good tradesman like Robin, and I’m sure we’ll be using him again in the future. Thanks, Robin and myBuilder!

Really disappointed with this contractor. Agreed a price and was booked in for weeks time. On the morning he called me to say that his van had broken down the night before and he would call me to re arrange on the Friday. Friday came and went, tried calling and texting the week after and he is just not coming back to me. Had to go through a lot of effort to arrange with tenant and he has let me down.

Robin did a great job on our kitchen worktop. He was very professional and completed the job in one day. We can barely see the joints which is amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Very happy with the work completed. Robin was able to complete the job within a week of providing a quote and the end product looks great. Would be happy to recommend.
