Chris carried out a minor roofing work on my house. He replaced a few broken slates and carried out an inspection at the same time which gave me peace of mind. He charged only for what needed to be done without adding any unnecessary work to the job. His service is highly recommended to anyone who is looking for someone they can trust.

Chris has a great work ethic and an attention to detail. He tiled our roof as if it was his own taking great care to make sure everything was perfect. He gave a report every evening on his progress so we knew exactly where he was in the project. The finished roof is of the highest quality in workmanship and we are extremely pleased with the result. Chris showed he was a clean and tidy worker and except for the new roof we wouldn't have known he had been there. Chris is a genuinely nice and trustworthy person who is proud of his own work ethic as well as his assistant (Joe-who also had the same work ethic). I was impressed by the promptness of the assessments made by all three of the builders who came to my home to advise how to deal with my squirrel problem. A number of different approaches were suggested. I decided initially to accept the opinion of Chris Woodley and try one of the cheaper options to apply anti-climbing paint to a portion of my two rainwater drain pipes. Chris arranged for this to be done fairly quickly following my acceptance of his quotation. After a fortnight I can still occasionally hear the squirrel climbing the wall adjacent to my bedroom and climbing up to the eaves of my house. One morning I heard the scratching sounds of the squirrel and then a fairly loud thud on the fence suggesting that it may have slipped off the drain pipe on to the fence. Unfortunately this has not deterred the squirrel from climbing the walls of my house. It rather looks as if I will need to use barriers fitted to my eaves to stop the squirrel invasion. I could not fault Chris's work in attempting to deal with this problem and would recommend him for his prompt and efficient assistance.
