Couldn’t ask for a better service. Chris kept in touch & set a date to attend. He text the day before to confirm he would be attending, and despite the long distance, turned up exactly when he said he would. Such a friendly guy and did a fabulous job. He said that he could only aim to get 80% of the creaks from our old staircase, but managed to get it 100% creak-free! Also advised not to replace our existing treads (some were cracked) as the quality was far better than the ‘modern’ replacement. Whole staircase completed within the same day. Couldn’t fault his work and would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Chris has just been and fixed my stairs and I must say that he has done a wonderful job. They now feel solid and are silent to walk on. He has put the carpet back down and you would not know it had ever been up. He is a friendly guy, accommodating to your needs, very knowledgeable about his craft and I enjoyed chatting to him. I would recommend his service without hesitation.

Absolutely fantastic results from Chris, our staircase was so creaky and just didn't feel safe - it's absolutely solid now (and no more noise). Chris was bang on time, courteous and tidy, I thoroughly recommend - we can finally walk up the stairs without wincing!

Amazing service. So pleased I hired Chris. Arrived when expected, introduced himself and got straight on with fixing my staircase. It wasn’t in great condition but Chris said he can sort it out and he really did a brilliant job. I now feel safe walking up and down the stairs. Brilliant service, highly recommend. Fixed my poorly fitted and repaired staircase, from previous owners bodged jobs. No squeeks and feels solid rather than bouncy now. Can't believe the difference. Much cheaper than replacing the staircase as well. Thanks Chris, much appreciated. Would use again if needed a staircase repair in another house.

Chris was a friendly professional and we are so pleased with his work. He fixed our very unsafe stairs and tightened all of our other stairs. We also have an anxious cat and he was very understanding and considerate. He worked his socks off all day and the price he charged was reasonable to have such a professional fix our stairs. The work is to a high standard and we would highly recommend him to anyone.

Chris was very polite and down to earth. Our stairs were a risk as they was starting to collapse. Following a visit from chris the stairs are as good as new and no creaking when walking up/down the stairs. Would highly recommend.
