Chris is a great person, his enthusiasm and interest in the job and the house as a whole secured him the work and we haven't been disappointed. His quote was very reasonable compared to the others we had and he is an excellent communicator - keeping us informed of his arrival on the day and texting us the day he accepted the job with some guidance to be careful on the crumbling stairs! Super nice guy, did a great job of making our stairs safe. Would not hesitate in working with him again or recommending him to anyone. Chris is an excellent worker, punctual, very friendly & easy to chat with. He adjusted all 5 of our inner doors which either did not close properly or rattled & did a great job. The final 6th door is a fire door into garage which had lost a hinge. Everything now works perfectly! He fitted a new loft hatch and ladder - which was much harder than it sounds as the new hole was in no ways the same as the existing hole. He did the impossible and made it fit. He made it beautiful. He somehow lifted and secured it into place all by himself without fuss or mess. Too heavy for one man to lift he still fixed it into a hole 3 meters of the ground. I suspect he is magic.
