Chris is a real professional. He turned up on time and did an excellent job. His work is second to none. We have lived for 30 years with creaky stairs, within 4 hours no more creaks. Highly recommend.

My stairs are brilliant!! This house was built in the 1930s, the top two stairs were creaking and sagging. This was complicated by having a plastered ceiling in the cupboard underneath. Truth be told, the stairs creaked from the both step to the top, but the top two steps were the worry in case they gave way. I posted the job and Chris responded. My experience, no fuss, no drama, sent him the pictures and he gave me a quote without visiting. A fixed price, no quibble or “well it may be more”. Just a warning; he does stairs; he doesn’t do wardrobes, doors, floorboards; he does stairs and he is good at it. Arrived prompt on the day, left him to it, and was finished when he said he would. No fuss, no drama; clean, tidy; pleasant and with a good old-fashioned can-do attitude to the job with pride in his work. Not a squeak in the stairs, weeks later going up and down and not a squeak; thank you Chris. I would recommend him any day. (By the way, the plastered ceiling was undamaged)

From the first point of contact through to finishing the job Chris has been brilliant. Detailing from the beginning exactly what he recommended including cost which is exactly what you want. Im really impressed with how quiet are stairs are now and Chris has done a fantastic job on them ready for our new carpet. Everything was left clean and tidy too. Great service, would definitely recommend to others.
