Purchased a house that needed updating: new bathroom plastering and pebble dashing. The standard of work is very good and the work force had a good work ethic and nothing was too much trouble. The work was completed on time and on budget. Chris is a very upfront person nothing is hidden and he will give valuable advise but lets you form your own opinion would have no hesitation in recommending Chris or any of his work force we are very happy with the work they carried out.

I would whole heartedly and without hesitation recommend Chris Mather to anyone considering a conversion or other building work - and have done so already. He approached a very major project with sensitivity and great experience, had an extensive team of specialist tradesman at his disposal and worked within budget and to time. It was a difficult scheme, working to convert a fairly unloved Georgian property (cellar) for very exacting and demanding clients, and he did a brilliant job. The property had to be stripped out completely, wired, plumbed, dry lined and put back together again. A fabulous new kitchen, bathroom and study were created. Chris and his team retained period features and materials with care, offered creative solutions to unexpected problems and communicated with us regularly. This was important as Chris undertook this conversion at a time when we were often absent and I was able to trust him absolutely. The quality of the finish was excellent and, on completion, any of the usual minor snagging details were remedied without complaint and promptly. I would have confidence in recommending Chris Mather to anyone, knowing as I do how difficult it is to find a reliable, hard working contractor.
