Wow. Very skiilled. On time and highly professional. Will definitely use again.

Kryz (Chis) hung two internal doors, and fitted two replacement kitchen worktops, for me. He collected the doors from the supplier and brought them round the day before the work was to take place, at no extra charge. He also set up all his tools and equipment at the same time in readiness for the work ahead, so he could start the work as soon as he arrived. He arrived on time the following day and immediately got stuck in to the job. The doors were hung quickly, and perfectly. Similarly, the worktops were replaced and the rounding off of one corner of one of the worktops to match the curve of the existing shelves underneath was particularly impressive as he did completely freehand, in one take (he couldn’t use his carpenters jig as the curve of the shelving below was non-standard). Chris was a very hardworking carpenter full of energy and did an excellent job of fitting my new fire door, frame and architraves. Highly recommended.

Chris ended up fitting 4 pine wood alcove shelves instead of the 6 we initially wanted after we changed our mind. He came prepared with all his equipment and arrived on time. We agreed for Chris to dye the wooden shelves with wood dye that we provided, however we were quite disappointed with the dye and varnish job. It was rushed and some splashes of wood dye were left on our walls despite his best efforts to clean it all up and repaint the wall. Chris did offer to come and fix it after we complained but we didn't trust his painting skills so decided to resand and dye all 4 shelves ourselves, together with repainting the full wall which was a pain but worth it now that the finished job is done great. I would recommend Chris for his carpentry/joinery skills, however he should avoid committing to tasks he is not skilled at like painting.
