John is a very good trade-person. The kitchen work surface was purchased by me from Wickes. John showed me the warp on the work surface. Really I should have taken it back to Wickes. The 45º angle, I considered was difficult enough to get perfect and now with the warp more difficult to get it perfect. John perseverance with the warped work surface to give perfection was outstanding. He did a great job. I am pleased with the amount of money he has billed me for his skills. I am also pleased I choose mybuilder.com to find me a trade person like John.

Our office kitchen was completely refurbished and the result is outstanding. During the time that Jonathan and his colleagues were with us the area where the work was being carried out was always clean and tidy and we continued to work in the office with very little disruption. Jonathan is extremely contentious and the work has been completed to an extremely high standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jonathan and will use his services again in the future.

John fitted a bamboo wood floor for us throughout two rooms and a hallway downstairs. He carried out the work thoroughly and to a high standard. It looks excellent.Also he was willing to help out with extra jobs such as moving furniture which made it all more manageable for us. I can highly recommend him and we already have plans to use him again if he is not too busy.

Extremely happy with the work Jon has completed. He was very helpful in helping us source the doors and work was completed on time and Jon tied up and left no mess. We've already asked for a quote for another job and have recommended to a family member.

Jon is a very pleasant chap, and was completely reliable and professional. His carpentry work is to a high standard and he worked hard to meet the needs of my slightly unusual job. He provided written quotes - which many don't - and the final costs were as expected. I would hire him again.

John did an excellent job of hanging our internal doors. He was efficient and tidy and very accommodating of our requirements and flexible with convenient time and date to do the job.

I was looking for a builder experienced in sound proofing to building regulations standard. I am not convinced Jon was as he seemed unsure what was required so we had to have a sound specification prepared by a sound engineer for Jon to work to. During the course of the work we did ask Jon to do a number of other jobs, most of which he did for us. His work was always of a very good standard. My main problem with Jon was his not turning up at times he had agreed to and not finishing jobs he had started, sometimes for several weeks. He was always busy doing other work and I do think it would have been fairer of him to tell us he would not be able to complete some work rather than beginning it and leaving us waiting. Some work had to be redone as he sent a friend to do it who was not clear what to do. Overall the quality of his work was excellent so, if you are not in a hurry, I would recommend him.

Jon did a fantastic job laying our laminate flooring, he turned up promptly, worked around any difficulties to ensure we got the finish we wanted. We were so pleased with the result that we asked him to board out our garage which looks great (he also found time to reseal our bath for us!). Will definitely use again and highly recommend.

Jon did a rearrange of the kitchen and fitted some new units and a range cooker as well as new wooden worktops, sink, some tiling and moved a radiator. First class job completed in just a few days and tidied up left everything neat. Very pleased with the work. Excellent standard and a good price as well. Would't hesitate to use Jon again or to recommend.
