Charles was easy-going and pleasant to deal with, he did a really nice job on my bathroom, he took care over the finishing details and I would definitely recommend him.

Charles did a great job fitting and retiling our bathroom. There were problems along the way, due to our antique plumbing system and a defective pump, but he dealt with them with good humour and excellent problem-solving skills. The job cost more than originally quoted but the reasons for this were clear and we were kept informed throughout. Charles came up with creative solutions, and was flexible and reliable throughout. He's very easy to deal with, and we've asked him back to do more work elsewhere in the house.

Charles re-tiled and refitted our bathroom. We were very pleased with the work. His quote was higher than many others but we decided to go with Charles due to the positive feedback on this site. I don't regret that decision. He did most of the work while we were on holiday and even organised a new bath for us when the one we bought wasn't suitable. Did so within the quote without asking extra. A couple of the minor final detals could have been improved (eg as some grouting left on the face of the tiles and Walls). However, I didn't raise them with Charles because of their very minor mature so perhaps that's really my fault. I would recommend Charles.

We hired Charles to refit our bathroom. This involved gutting the room, and fitting all units / tiles etc. Charles was quick, diligent and professional in his approach. He was able to advise of issues and solutions when giving the quote, as well as during the completion of the work. Throughout the work Charles gave me regular updates of his progress, and we are delighted with the quality of work now that it has been completed. During the installation we encountered several problems with receiving delivery of tiles / units for Charles to install. In fact at times we wondered if anything else could go wrong! However, throughout this Charles was very understanding of the problems we were having and was flexible enough to adapt his work to ensure the job was completed in the best time possible. With the problems we had, having a builder we could trust and rely on was greatly appreciated. Charles also comes across a genuinely nice bloke. Thanks for your work.
