Worked hard to completely repair my house after a burglary which destroyed most of the property. Were very patient with me and in waiting for the insurance company to reply to me and did a really good job. Would not hesitate to recommend to somebody in need of builders who really know their stuff. Thank you for all your help!

we hired CDS builders to do a complete refurbishment on a very run down property. Darren and his team did a wonderful job to a high standard, you would not recognise it compared to what it was. Although unexpected extra works were found on the way, they were dealt with smoothly and efficiently. Altogether it was a job very well done!!!

CDS are the best contractors, builders and joiners we have ever met!! They not only completed a high quality refurbishment of the property in question, but also offered to help us rectify issues we were facing with another ongoing project. They are a professional, affordable and efficient team, that deliver the required output. These guys give cowboys a bad name. They are worse than cowboys and less than honest. For example, they lied about the dates of their (appalling) tanking work on the guarantee application they made and on the guarantee certificate they issued. The chemicals company cancelled the guarantee when they were told the true dates. Lots of documents and photos. Avoid them like the plague.

Darren undertook the refurbishment of our kitchen and conservatory. We thought they were efficient and very interested in their work. They were easy to get on with and to discuss variations. They were able to communicate effectively with us - they are good at problem solving. It was quite a complicated job and they were good with conservation work. The two have got different skills so it comes together to make a very successful partnership. I am very delighted with the work and would use them again. I would definitely recommend them.

Darren built a single storey extension for me. I was totally happy with the work. He was on time, reliable, clean and tidy, pleasant. I would certainly recommend him.

C.D.S. Builders and Joiners Having tried various 'tradesmen' over the years I have never found one that I would happily recommend... It might be that I expect too much for my money? Well I think I have found value thanks to MyBuilder.com Malcolm carried out the survey to see what was required to carry out the structural work and to allow us to do our own preparation / finishing / making good etc. to keep the costs down and was very flexible when we had a late change of plan to reduce the amount of work required. Callum & Keiran carried out the structural work very quickly and everything went to plan, they took a great deal of care to minimise the mess caused by the work - there were no surprises with the exception of how quickly Callum got confidently stuck into the job. Recommended and would use MyBuilder.com and C.D.S. Builders and Joiners again. Thank You for a great service Gary

Malcolm and his team installed purpose made sash windows and two stairs cases for our barn conversion. I got along them all really well. Their time-keeping was good but they were flexible too. I've had no problems at all, I'm really pleased with the work. Their quote was detailed, so you knew what you were paying for. I've already recommended them to other people.

Malcolm and his two sons completed a loft conversion for us. They stuck to the price, they were brilliant. We had no disruption in the house. They cleaned up after themselves, the place was absolutely spotless. I got along with Malcolm just fine, his sons are fantastic to get on with. They kept us informed and were upfront. Their quote was reasonable and the quality of their work was excellent, really high spec. I would use them again if need be and recommend them to others.
