Southend Flooring completed the commercial carpet fitting and painting according to the time table quoted and were within budget. They were extremely adaptable to meeting additional requests and clearly took a great deal of pride in their work - which was of very good quality. Each day I received a full briefing on how the work was progressing and a walk round with me to ensure the quality was satisfactory. The painting and decorating involved moving furniture (some quite heavy) outside our normal work hours (i.e. the work was done at night time and weekends). James came to quote us for carpets throughout most of our home and arrived promptly. Out of all the quotes we had James' was the most reasonable especially when considering the quality of carpet we selected. He was a complete professional and was really helpful in explaining the different types of carpet and underlay (I didn't have a clue!). He was also one of few companies who offered to remove and dispose of our old carpets which was one of the main reasons we selected him. When James came to fit the carpets he and his colleague Chris were excellent. They arrived early in the morning and were finished by late afternoon. There were some minor issues which needed addressing on completion of the job but James came back late one evening and fixed these. James also kept in regular contact with me via text so I knew when to expect him. Whenever I asked him a question he was always very quick to respond. Overall myself and my partner are really pleased with the job, the carpets are a massive improvement on what we had before and the quality of workmanship cannot be questioned. If you need to get a carpet fitter then look no further, James and Chris are the ones to choose!

James was absolutely fantastic. When he arrived it turned out that I was unable to remove a four poster bed from the room he was due to fit gripper, underlay and carpet in. Although this presented a clear issue, James simply adopted a 'no problem' approach and worked around it which was impressive. As well as being really friendly and approachable, his price was very reasonable, his work was of an excellent standard and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone and will certainly use his services again in the future.

I am a Small Carpentry and Building Contractor based in Essex, I had a job going in Brentwood, Essex. The usual flooring contractor I use was busy and then off on holiday for two weeks. I turned to my builder to find a flooring contractor, it allowed me to post the job details and search for a tradesmen then review the feeback they had received. I was drawn to southend flooring, they had a 100% feedback score and some great comments from there customers. So Glad I did, I sent a invite and they were soon to respond, they popped over to have a look at the flooring to be laid and give me advise on the sub floor and adhesive to be used. They changed mine and is amazing. not only that the quote was fair and good value for money but the results were incredible.
