I cannot believe what this guy has written about me. I tiled the back wall of his bath and the right hand wall ready for the shower. As soon as I started I pointed out it was going to be awkward to get the tiling perfect because I was using 600 x 300 tiles in a broken bond pattern with 1mm spacers and the tiles were not 100% the same size. I said this was not the only time I had come across this problem with tiles from Mandarin Stone and I never used the word junk. I finished the tiling and he thanked me and paid me. The next evening I had a message saying his wife wasn't happy with the tiling and I went to see him next evening. I did not agree with what he wanted to change but to keep him happy I put all my jobs back by a day and went to his house and told him I was going to stay until he was totally happy. He asked me why I had put all the cuts in the corner so tight when he wanted a 1mm joint in the corner to grout. I told him it was cut in tight ready to silicone but he said he didn't want silicone. I took all the cut out, cleaned all the backs off and trimmed them all down with a new diamond blade and re-stuck them using my own adhesive and made him check that he was happy. He made me change one cut he said was level at the bottom but not at the top so I changed it. This proves my point on different size tiles. At 4 o'clock he shook my hand and said the tiling was beautiful. This was a few weeks ago and now this. I never rip people off as people can see from my feedback.
