Thank you for your feedback. This matter is currently subject to a formal dispute. The works referred to formed part of a larger project where additional works were also requested and agreed during the course of the job. At the stage the issue arose, the original wall had already been demolished and rebuilding had commenced following the client’s written instruction to proceed. Materials had been purchased and work was progressing. Unfortunately, access to the property was later refused and we were instructed to leave the site before the works could be completed. As a professional contractor we have attempted to resolve the matter amicably and a formal Letter Before Action has been issued. All communication, site photographs, written instructions and documentation relating to the project have been retained. For this reason it would not be appropriate to comment further publicly while the matter is being addressed through the proper legal process.
