Thanks for tour Feedback karen. I arrived at the property at 8am. Customer was short on underlay and there was no beading at all which is required to cover expansion gap, can’t really finish the job without it. I asked customer to go and get it because I have no view to get it done. She left, came back two hours later without underlay and beading saying that she couldn’t buy it because of the traffic. I still couldn’t finish without required materials so she went again this time successful. Tv was transferred right away at my arrival to the kitchen along with monitor, computer etc. safe and sound. It took nearly 3 weeks for customer to spot that it’s cracked? I have nothing to do with that. Your underfloor heating is actually cheap poor quality electric matt which is probably working fine, you don’t feel it because it’s under the underlay and flooring. Electric Matt worth £25 is simply not generating enough heat to go through. You would feel it under the carpet though. I couldn’t release power cord behind the sofa when the matt is located in different part of the room. It’s not “slap bang” in the middle of the room but under the radiator right on the skirting board. I can’t use electric tools outside when it’s cold/wet/raining, health&safety. I was hired to install the flooring so I need access to the floor, no sofas, no tv, no tv stand and existing flooring removed beforehand. Before I left customer said - it was a pleasure. I wish I could say the same.
