Russell is a nice chap who did a good job at fitting my floor,after fitting the floor he said he would come back and finish the wood trims and trim the bottom of my two doors as they wouldn't fit over the new wood,I paid him for the job on the condition that he would come back but I have been let down by him on two occasions the second time without any explanation which is a shame really as like I said he is a nice chap

Russell and Alfie have completely transformed my living room and kitchen floor! The floor is 1930's. Several boards have been replaced with reclaimed boards, then filled, sanded down and finished. I am so happy to finally have a beautiful floor I can walk on in bare feet! The guys are so easy to have around and were insistent on clearing up themselves before the next step. I am recommending them to everyone!! Thankyou! :) :)

Russell did a fantastic job with our floors, he even sorted some reclaimed boards to replace some missing and damaged ones. We couldn't be happier with the result. He is a genuinely nice and funny guy to have around too.

Great work! Very friendly. Out flooring had buckled and needed repairing. The job was more difficult than he first thought (due to the previous layer gluing all the tongue and groove in the wood floor!). He helped find replacement wood and repaired the area cleanly. You now wouldn't even notice there had been a problem. I would recommend him and would definitely use him again.

Russell has done a fantastic job. He has made our uneven, gappy and untidy floor look like new - which took a lot of hard work. He has a good artistic eye, and advised us on moving boards to achieve the best appearance. He asked us our preferences all along the way and gave good advice. We were expecting the work to be very dusty but we were surprised how little dust got around the house, particularly since Russell took a lot of trouble to vacuum up at the end of the day. He was totally reliable in turning up and getting the job done, and was a very easy and friendly person to have around. We would completely recommend Russell both for the great quality of his work and for being an easy and pleasant person to work with.

Excellent standard of workmanship and service, all round good guy, a bit expensive on the custard cream biscuits but would highly recommend.

Russell sanded, stained and varnished the wood floors in our Victorian terrace house. He was very friendly, and got the job done to a high standard at a good price. Would definitely recommend.

Great Job and Price!

Russell came to sand and vanish my 1930's floorboards. He did an excellent job and was extreamly professional. The quote Russell gave was really competitive and the best quote I had, and the finish is fantastic. I have already recommended him to friends. The job was a bit tricky because of my floors, but Russell had all the tools and skills to complete it with no problems at all. He even supplied and fitted a small section of reclaimed timber so the boards all matched perfectly. Really friendly guy who is trust worthy as I abandoned him in my house most of the day, nipping back now and then to make him a much needed cup of tea. I am really pleased with the job. Many thanks.
