Ben, Ian and his team did a brilliant job. They came across a few issues this was due to the building plans they had to work from (architectural designer did a disappearing act). This didn’t faze them at all and kept me informed of how they would solve these concerns. They always arrived on time and constantly consulted with me as to how I wanted things to look. The whole extension consisting of a new kitchen and shower/toilet room couldn’t have turned out out any better. They have since completed a few other jobs one being a seating area (completed just from a picture I showed them) with cupboard storage. Again really pleased with the results. Wish I'd listened to the other negative reviews. Awful experience. BDW have refused to sign off the building regs unless I give a glowing positive review. Have spent weeks trying to agree a review they're happy with but decided I'd rather do an honest review. Not sure you can trust the positive reviews! The knock through: Mortared the wall at one end slightly wonky and left an uneven section of floor. Also had them build a garage: -Had to get them back multiple times to repair leaks. They did it with duct tape so lasted 2 weeks! -The cladding (which i paid extra to have repaired once already) hasn't been slotted together so is falling off in 6 places. -there's no lintel above the french door so the frame comes loose. -guttering snapped off when I opened the door. -other door fell off its hinges when used -surrounded the chimney with wood despite installers telling them this is a fire risk. -threatening when I tried to negotiate resolving above. Paid more in total than agreed

Ben and his team at BDW Builders were excellent from quote through to completion. The work consisted of a steel beam installation, electrics, plumbing, new radiators, plastering and door fitting. The team worked very hard to complete the project quickly, with a minimum of disturbance to us and communication was great throughout. All work was finished to a high standard and we are very happy with the result. I look forward to working with BDW Builders again for future projects. Thanks so much.

Ben built me a Catio in the garden so my 4 cats can now spend time outside, very sturdy I would highly recommend Ben great job thank you
