    Skirting
    Ben recently fitted skirtings in my daughters bedroom, all walls in the room were out and he still managed to get mitres spot on. Would definately use in future. Spot on job

    Replace seal on bath and sink
    As I was remote from the work being done, I dealt with Ben via email and text. Throughout this, Ben came across as very pleasant and helpful. He did the job with no fuss whatsoever, would use him again and would recommend him to others.

    General house/Building maintenance
    Ben has started working here as a general maintenance handyman yesterday 08/03m/2022. I am very pleased with his work. He is very skilled, knowledgeable,hardworking and is of a most pleasant and friendly disposition. I hope he can continue here for some time to come.

    Bouncy squeaky floor
    We hired Ben to fix some really squeaky boards and we are absolutely delighted with the results and cannot praise him too much. He was prompt polite and did an excellent job, Ben kept us informed about every step of the process. We would be pleased to recommend him to anyone in fact we have already discussed other pieces of work for him to do for us. Thank you for all your very hard work Ben and see you soon 😀

    Drawer Repair
    Great job done by Ben. Spot on time and fixed my broken drawers in a couple of hours. Lovely lad as well. Would definitely recommend for Carpentry or Joinery jobs.

    Skirting board installation in one room
    Unreliable! I arranged for Ben to come and fit my skirtings on the Saturday morning, I confirmed the job with him on the Thursday evening and explained it was crucial they were fitted as my carpet was arranged for the Weds morning and I needed time to finish decorating before that. The Saturday morning I got a text saying he wouldn't be coming as he was ill and he would catch up with me later. He did later offer to come on the Monday evening but that was too late. I ended up delaying my carpet being fitted and another reliable joiner to come and do the job instead. I can not recommend Ben as I would not consider him for any job in the future!

    I understand your frustrations. I did ring and suggest a work around that would've allowed me time to recover whilst still getting the work done for you in time. I said If you painted the skirting while they were off the wall, there was no reason I could not fit after painting and we would of had more than enough time to fit them to the wall with a quick brush over the cuts before the carpet fitters arrived. Glad you managed you managed to get the job done, all the best Ben

    Fit a stable door
    Excellent work. Ben replaced a stable door and refitted a new doorstep, all done very professionally. I would recommend him to anyone

    Timber framed false chimney breast for electric stove
    Benjamin proved to be a very reliable, friendly, yet professional person and carried out a brilliant job for me. He was punctual and communicated very well in explaining the method he would use in completing the job. I would definitely recommend Benjamin Dalton for any carpentry and joinery work.

    Replace multiple internal doors
    Did not turn up when he said he would , given no explanation why he did not come and ignored my messages. Just totally ignored us since he said he would do the work. On this we would totally not recommend. Really disappointed

    I'm sorry to hear you're disappointed. I would just like to point out that I cannot respond to a withheld number. Since I confirmed I could carry out this work for you, I sustained a work related injury in which my thumb was badly damaged and left me unable to work for a while, I informed all my clients of this bar yourselves as I had no number to contact you on and rarely use site as I'm in high demand. Sorry for the inconvenience Ben. P.S Hope you got the doors fitted, if not please feel free to contact myself again and I will be happy to honor my word!
