    New bathroom to be fitted

    At what first seemed like a good job done, the work turned out to be not quite as good as we thought. Upon completing the work in March 2019 in less than a week we were ultimately impressed. However recently we have been unearthing issue by issue with our bathroom refurbishment. First of all, once Don had installed the new bathroom, we were not given an installment or safety certificate for the new shower. We needed to have one, and when I have tried to contact him, he has blanked my calls and ignored all of my emails. Then the toilet started to leak from under it, I tried to contact him about this issue to no avail. We had to get a plumber in to fix the toilet, and how Don had put the cistern lid on was very very shoddy. They actually glued the cistern lid down with Sealant! so the plumber had to use a crowbar to lever it off! leaving damage to our new toilet. They also had not secured the waste pipe properly (hence the leak). This was not the last of the issues, we have had to get an electrician in to check over the shower and new fuse box. It would appear that the cable they are supplying to the shower is not sufficient for the wattage, and is actually a FIRE HAZARD! They have left cabling without trunking, no isolator switch, and altered the fuse box which is also a FIRE HAZARD. So we have now got to supply a new shower, and fix the fuse box. I advise all people who are going to use them NOT TO, and for those who already have, get someone in to check over their work.

    We understand that there have been several issues with the shower replacement and subsequent bathroom refurbishment. Our task was to replace the faulty shower with a new one of the same spec and use the existing power supply installation, unfortunately, it was not apparent at the time that the wiring had pre-existing issues from the first time when the shower was installed. Regarding the toilet, it appears that the issue may have arisen when the flooring replacement was being carried out by another company. During their attempt to remove the old lino from underneath the toilet, it is possible that the toilet was inadvertently dislodged from its original position, leading to subsequent leakage. Regarding the cistern lid, there was no additional fixings were provided by the manufacturer. To secure it, a small droplet of silicone was used to hold it in place. However, it seems that during the removal process, a more forceful approach was taken without considering the potential for damage. When you attempted to contact us during the Christmas period, were away with your family and unable to address the toilet situation immediately. We are sorry about any inconvenience caused by our unavailability during that time and appreciate your understanding in finding another tradesman.     New shower to be fitted

    Don did a great job fitting a shower and tiling the area. He attended at short notice and did the work for a fair price. I would recommend and use again.

    Mini bathroom refurb

    To tile a ceramic floor in a empty conservatory

    Bathroom tile extension

    Reliable and knowledgable about the requirements. Delivered a quality piece of work, as expected for an extension of tiles to allow a bathroom to also be used as a shower room.

    Replacement shower fitting

    I wanted a new replacement shower. Arun Tiling gave me a satisfactory quote so they got the job. It’s a family business and the owner, Don Dyra came round on short notice to tackle the installation. (On a Saturday) He was very methodical and showed great experience. With the work complete he then set about tidying up and left the place clean and tidy. He also made a minor change to my airing cupboard pipes and replaced a faulty stop tap. I would have no hesitation in using him again and would thoroughly recommend him.

    Install new shower

    Extremely high quality and well finished job. Carpets etc well protected and everything cleaned up. I would unreservedly recommend.

    New bathroom needed

    I needed an entirely new bathroom fitted in my loft. Don was very friendly, honest and his attention to detail is amazing. He quoted me originally for the works and although it took a little longer than planned he still stuck with his original quote. I would highly recommend him for any works as results on my bathroom are excellent. Thank you
