Replace leaking radiator
Neil arrived on time and went straight to work. Rrmoved and replaced the old radiator without any problems.

Job was not completed. We were left with a toilet that didn't flush and a bath not mounted properly so was unsafe to use. Several other tradesman in the house witnessed the bad standard of work. We also obtained a report from a reputable plumber stating all the issues found and what would need to be put right to rectify all the issues. We did not pay the outstanding balance as the cost of rectifying the mistakes was more than the balance outstanding. We invited him to take us to court if he felt we did in fact owe him money but he told us in writing not to pay him and he would swallow the labour costs and we agreed not to take him to court to claim costs to put any work he had done wrong right. We also agreed not to leave a bad review as we had come to an agreement over the matter privately and had already told him to take it to court if he had an issue and mybuilder advised us to take him to court if it could not be resolved after sending them the plumbers report with the issues on it. After agreeing not to pay we did not hear anything else but received threatening texts yesterday from someone claiming to be a friend of this tradesman although I strongly suspect it is the tradesman himself pretending to be a friend. The texts were from someone threatening to come to our house and make us pay. The texts were sent to my husband but I am often in the house alone and am currently six months pregnant and think this is disgusting behaviour especially during a national lockdown.Answer from tradesperson:
I had advised the customer to remove the old tiles before fitting the new bath as it will not be secured in the best and suitable way I voiced my concerns. He had a tiler put tiles over old tiles. He told me if anything was an issue later he would blame the tiler which I thought was a bit out of order and this should have been a warning sign to what would happen later. He wanted to change the position over of the toilet and basin. I told him that he would need to remove the falls wall where the pipe work is enclosed and change it over. He didnt like how much it would cost. I suggested re routing the pipe work inside the unit which I told him wouldn't be Ideal. He was happy to go ahead. On the last day i was there he arranged the tiler to come at the same time i was there even though i said i need the bathroom to my self. I completed everything that needed to be done and I asked if he was happy to put the toilet seat on after the tiler had left and said if not I will come back and fit it, he was happy to do this. When contacting about payment he changed into a different person, slaging me off and telling me everything I did was wrong. Unfortunately I didnt take pictures or have anything in writing. As you can see from my 70+ good feedback reviews this customer is someone to avoid. He threatened me with this bad review over a year ago and for some reason now it has been posted with extra lies in regards to being treated for money.
