Review left on 14 May 2026Rating: 2 out of 5Radiator replacements * 2(Updated on 17 May 2026)I have no issue with the quality of the work performed, just the cost of this work. It’s my fault for not asking for a quote before the work was performed, I will remember that in future. I am comparing the cost of this work with previous radiator replacements that we have undertaken when we have decorated different rooms in the house. I was just very disappointed that I was invoiced £500 labour costs, for about 2 hours work which my wife and I felt was far too much for elective, not emergency, out-of-hours work! That is why the rating is low because we feel the price we had to pay was completely unfair for the work performed. We had already purchased the two radiators and TRV valves. Sorry, but this is just how we feel.Answer from tradesperson:
Dear Mr. Gary Gutteridge, I visited your home to replace your radiators, and you were keen to have the work completed as quickly as possible so your new carpet could be fitted the next day. I did my best to complete the job promptly and professionally under the time pressure. I worked hard to get the work finished for you, and I am still waiting for payment. Because of this, I feel the feedback you left on MyBuilder was unfair and does not reflect the effort and service I provided. I would appreciate it if you could reconsider your feedback and arrange the outstanding payment as soon as possible.

Review left on 21 Nov 2025Rating: 5 out of 5Ensuite shower replacementAsh turned up promot to measure up and give us a quote for a new shower cubicle (including tiling ) , new shower and pump and was flexible with timings and able to start sooner than we had hoped. Great communication throughout , clear invoicing, polite , careful to keep the rest of the house clean when doing the work and always happy to talk through progress. Quality job and nice Finnishing. Ash advised us on the shower and went through some styles in his caterlog. He provide a professional quote with no hidden costs. He completed the work to requirements. On testing shower there was a leak through ceiling. Part of the sealant was missing behind tap,which could be the cause. Message to see when avaliable to have a look and sort. We’ve had a similar job a while ago, that plumber lacked the experience so it took longer and added more cost.
