    Replacing deteriorated old bricks (ten)
    Hired Adam a few months ago for a leaking flat roof and gutter issues. I have no problem with Adam as a roofer. You're in safe hands. But I went with Adam as he reassured me his passion for his work and customer service. Unfortunately after many messages asking for a health check on the roof as promised and some chimney repointing as promised. There was no reply what so ever. Absolutely no contact or even a courtesy message to say it will or won't be done. Go with Adam because he's a good roofer but don't go with him if he sweet talks you into a "free health check follow up" or "guarantee" or "free pointing up".

    I’ll answer to this as mybuilder appear to be as good at communicating to myself and the poster as I am 🙄. One part of this is true the rest is not as myself and the client have agreed on yesterday and that is my communication has been a little light on this, it’s been a little tricky the past few months to most roofers trying to juggle work with extremely limited amount of dry days and the ones that we’ve had have had to really count and so it’s not been possible to do the complimentary bit of spot pointing which was a gesture of good will as this guy had been ripped off before. Don’t worry I’ve learnt from this and won’t offer again but you’re right - I should have kept you in the loop more. The flat roof outlet clearance has been carried out as per ongoing spec from the 1st work we did on this house a year or so ago. Not quite sure why he’s mentioned guarantees, all our work is guaranteed and the initial work was also fitting full new gable barge boards a year ago on this house

    Roof maintenance and clear guttering
    Great service from Adam. He replaced a broken baton at the top of the roof, re-bedded the ridge tiles, replaced a few cracked tiles and cleared the guttering. He took a few video shots to show us what work was done. This is a great idea as we can see what work he has done close up. He didn't try to talk us into something we don't need either. When we bought the house a few years ago, someone told us we needed a new roof. Adam confirmed that the roof is in good condition, even though it's the original roof, around 85 years old. Really quick time between giving the quote to completing the job. Happy to recommend to others.

    Roof tiles, chimney flashings, dry verges
    Having to change this review retrospectively (Nov 2025). Hired Adam for a number of jobs on the roof last year including repairing 2 chimneys and paid him a reasonable price to complete said work. Chased him for an invoice at the time which he promised to send through but never did. I took it in good faith he had done the work agreed. A year later, started having issues with damp in the house and realised it was the roof causing the issue. Adam came to have a look at the roof again and quoted me to do exactly the same work I had paid him for last year. He must have forgotten. Clearly didn't do the work I paid him to do last year. I still have the messages from him last year confirming the work to be done. Had several roofers come round since and they've shown me photos of the roof and chimneys confirming the work was never done. There even was a large hole next to my chimney which seemed to have been covered by tape. Disappointed, and wont be using or recommending his services.

    Leak in porch roof
    Excellent Completed the work very quickly and thoroughly professionally. Adam was very friendly and carried out the agreed work and some extras within the cost estimate. Will recommend Adam to friends and family. Mike Smith

    Roof tile repairs
    I would highly recommend, Adam is very friendly and keep us fully informed with lots of videos of his work. Even did extra jobs not related to the work requested. Thank you Adam for the great service.

    Fascia, soffits, chimney and leak
    Adam is super lovely and friendly, he provided a very reasonable quote. He was punctual, very clean and tidy. He kept me informed with little videos and pictures of the problems with my roof and what it looked like once he had finished. I would recommend Adam to anyone. Thank you

    Roof Repair / Assessment
    Adam came round on Wednesday afternoon to give me a very agreeable quote and carried out the work on Friday morning. I was impressed by him taking before and after photos of the various bits of work as I'm trying to sell the house and the roof has previously been an issue. Recommended!

    Repair to brickwork above front door
    Excellent job. Repair of brickwork completed quickly for a good price. Will definitely use Adam again and would recommend to others.

    EPDM flat roof maintenance
    Adam is fantastic! Repaired a poor job done by some other "roofers", kept me updated throughout with videos and commentary. Even filled in a couple of cracks in my render which were unrelated to the job he was hired to do, but could see they may lead to problems in the future! Great service from start to finish, highly recommend!
