posted job Friday morning quick response and quote I was happy with by Friday afternoon job completed by Saturday lunch enough said thank you adam.

Did the job straight away. no complaints

Prompt contact from Adam. Gave me a quote after a visit. Over grown ivy was removed. Some of the ridge tiles were re-pointed and gutters were cleaned. Happy with the the finish. Would recommend to others!

I am so upset to be leaving someone a bad review but have no choice but to warn other people. I booked Adam Purves/Purvis of AP Home Improvements because he came across as being reassuringly honest and very professional. The job was to carry out roof repairs, re-point a chimney, supply & fit new guttering and supply & fit 8 new chimney cowels. They did the minor repairs and guttering and there were a few aesthetic issues which they said they would resolve when they returned to do the chimney and cowels. We agreed further works and I had no concerns at all. Aware of the material cost of the cowels, I agreed to pay which was a big mistake. Adam then delayed returning saying he was waiting for the cowels and then it rained. The guttering leaked everywhere. I text Adam and he said they’d look at it. I sent him videos of all the problems and he completely stopped communicating. It’s been over 2 weeks and he won’t answer phone calls, texts (I can see he’s read) or email. He has never completed the paid for labour or supplied the paid for 8 chimney cowels. I feel so stupid for trusting him and now have to make legal moves to try to recover money that we couldn’t afford to lose. It’s impossible to resolve problems with Adam as he refuses to communicate. I am hoping that he does attempt to sort out the situation and do the right thing but I suspect he’ll continue to ignore us having taken our money.

Really pleased with Adams work. Really good price, did exactly what I wanted and left my garden tidy after he had finished.

Great price for a great job, no extra charges even though a little extra work was required, kept us informed & turned up when promised. All very professional, polite & friendly. Recommended.

Adam replied within one hour of posting the job on My Builder. We arranged to meet one hour later and he arrived with his team of two other men. They inspected the broken skylight, gave me a fixed price and told me they could do the job two days later, he could see rainwater was pouring in via the broken skylight and knew the urgency. They arrived to do the skyline, as agreed, and all three worked as a well organised team, very professional, knew exactly what they were doing, cleared all the building waste. Adam videoed the broken skyline and then the repaired skylight. He explained every detail to me. The past two days we have had very heavy rain, not a drop has leaked through the repair. Adam and his team are excellent, did exactly what they said. I believe one of the best builder I have ever come across. Thank you Adam and your men.
