I had a family problem & they didn't push to do job & left it up to me to contact them, which was a nice change. I was unable to get other quotes due to upset, but they were so pleasant I decided to go ahead with them. Glad I did. The roof looks great. Area left cleaner & tidier than when they started! Alex & team were polite, friendly, & people I felt comfortable having in my home. Price was very reasonable. To include facias, soffits and guttering. I am looking to get this done ASAP. Thanks
I am very disappointed with the work Alex has done for us. I instructed Alex to supply and fit a new fiberglass roof with 2no roof lights either side, central to the new double doors. However one of the roof lights was off center by around 300mm and both openings incorrect even though I gave him a drawing. Neither did he put in any double trimmers. In fact when I questioned him about it he didn’t even know what this meant This led him to confess that he doesn’t normally do timber works on roofs. He never put noggings in the underside of the roof nor did he strap the roof down to the building. The furings he used stopped about 1.8 meters from the end of the roof so we now have puddles on top of the roof. The water does not fall into the gutters and instead drips down the facia and soffit and then down the wall. The back of the roof was also left open so water was coming in to the property. When I asked Alex to resolve this he came and moved the window and touched up the badly laid fiberglass. When I told him he was now holding up my job for other trades he said he said he was too busy working elsewhere. In fact he thought it was funny. All I have had from Alex is demands for money and threats to remove materials and very low quality and incorrect work. I would not recommend this company. The high standard we work to is paramount to ensure our reputation grows as the business develops and it is for this reason we ensure that all of our work is documented by way of photographs from start to finish. I would be happy to share them on this forum and have actually already shared them on our social media as I am confident of a job well done by myself and my team. To acknowledge a couple of points you’ve made, when you initially contacted me I was out of the country for a week. I assured you I would visit you upon my return to address any concerns you had, which I did. The second time you contacted me, you requested my attendance immediately. I was actually on a roof at that moment in time in the middle of a job and so it was not possible for me to leave right away. I offered you my earliest availability which was two days later to which you declined and advised you would use your own builder and deduct the cost from monies already owed. Customer satisfaction is paramount to us and so naturally I have been more than happy to return and address any areas of concern. It is therefore extremely disheartening to receive such negative feedback from yourself. With that aside, WRS have now installed an entire new GRP Roofing System and look forward to receiving our payment.

He did a proper and professional job as well as being a thoroughly nice man, as was his workmate. Everything was cleared away at the end. All old felt was removed and a new sealed layer applied (concrete roof) then boarding adding a fall away with felt on top of that. Ridge tiles replaced and lead flashing applied. Andy and Brandon worked really hard all day in the pouring rain and did an excellent job of repairing and re-felting our flat roofs and replacing our metal guttering. Alex was a great communicator throughout and we will certainly call him again if we need roofing work in future.
