    Kitchen extension
    The person who attended wasn't appropriately qualified, he drew up plans with out any detail about the ground work that would need to be completed, which subsequently was critised by a consultant suryor as being potential damaging to my neighbours boundaries.

    Answer from tradesperson:

    You are asking for extra work without any payment. I know how to work with details plan. Also , I provided basic details plan without any charge only on respect. However,I have been hired to bring your planning permission. Good news you got your permission. I am not hired for structural drawings or not for details drawings.You should respect how work is done. However, I am working with this industry for 10 years. Never seen people ask for money back which you paid £500 for single and double storey planing permission. after you get your planning permission.

    Planning permission

    Ak design were perfect. They got our planning permission for extension sorted in the time discussed. They also linked me with the correct builder for the job too

    3 metre plan for kitchen extension
    Didn't give a height for the extension, drawing wasnt detailed enough for the builders and really annoyed my builders. Doesnt know what councils or building control require at times and gives answers like "I don't know" "Ask etc etc" - Imagine another professional like a doctor or lawyer giving these answers. I simply cannot fathom how someone can be in this profession when they can't do basics. Changes his terms midway through the contract too. I tried to be nice to him by being non confrontational but the more nice i am, the more he tries to take advantage. If you hire him the you might as well hire a plumber who doesnt know how to open a boiler.

    This cannot be considered a honest review as I have worked and completed your project for the 3 metre extension back in 2022. You have built and completed that extension without any issues. You never raised any concerns whilst this project was ongoing so to say that I didn’t provide details etc is untrue. Due to the success of your extension, you then contacted me regarding your Thameswater drawings. Surely if you’re so dissatisfied with someone’s service, you wouldn’t return to them for another additional project. You returned 2 years later and have now put up a negative review this year 2024 because I did not accept your offer for a loft conversion regarding your brothers property. You stated in your email that you’re willing to remove the review if I completed the drawings within your price - which deems your review baseless. Again, you would not contact someone for the third time if you were unhappy with their service the first time.

    Plans for rear extension to detached property
    We had a pleasant experience with AK Design. Responsive and efficient, plans were produced to a high standard and in good time. We would use again in the future and will be recommending to friends and family.

    - Renovation: Basic outline plans (for quotes and planning application) **Customer description** I am applying for a license to alter on a commercial property and need a CAD drawing of the premises as per my plans for the renovation.

    We had our shop layout designed by Ak designs and the whole experience was brilliant. Kalam was very attentive and understanding. He produced results very quickly. Overall we are very happy and would highly recommend his services. Will definitely be using him for future projects.

    Renovation drawings
    Ahm has been brilliant and so easy to work with. He came round quickly and took full measurements for the house then created two sets of drawings for alternate versions of the planned extension. This has enabled me to move forward with builders, giving them professional, detailed drawings to quote from. The cost is much lower than anyone else and the quality is right up there with much more expensive designers. I have no hesitation in recommending AK Design. I will be using Ahm again for the further construction drawings I will need.

    AUTO Cad - planning services
    Kalam was very proffessional in his approach to design our project. Completed job on time specified and always kept in touch. Was reasonable in quote provided without compromising the job in hand. Would strongly recommend him for my future projects as well. Job well done..
