Afrim and his team did a fantastic job removing my old bathroom and fitting the new one. They were fast, thorough, kept me involved and updated with everything and were really friendly. My new bathroom is exactly how I hoped it would be. I would absolutely recommend AK Builders and Decorators and wouldn’t hesitate to use them for my next building or decorating project.

Afrim and his team did an amazing job completely refurbishing our bathroom, so good in fact that we brought him back to redo our kitchen! I was very impressed by every aspect of his work, from the care and attention taken, to the speed with which he completed the job. He would arrive on time every day (usually a few minutes early) and finished when when he said he would. The job was as quoted too. In short, I would highly recommend Afrim and his team, and would not think twice about using him again.

Despite a 3 month wait we knew as soon as we met Afrim he was our builder of choice, it was definitely worth the wait and we are incredibly happy with our bathroom and en-suite refurbishments. Afrim listened to what we wanted, made suggestions and delivered as agreed and on time. Afrim was as clean and tidy as possible all through the works. Although he had limited space to work around he was respectful to our space and it did not feel as intrusive as our experiences with previous builders. He is a highly skilled builder and passionate about delivering high quality work. If he wasn’t happy with something he would re do it without a second thought. He was accommodating to our ideas and flexible to adding extra work such as in built shelves. Nothing was a problem for him as he showed patience to any ideas or concerns we had. All in all he has left us with 2 new fantastic bathrooms we are incredibly happy with. We would not hesitate to use Afrim again for any future works and highly recommend him and his team. Afrim has done a great job on my flat - from repainting to fitting new lights and appliances including a gas hob & taps, and hanging mirrors everything was done professionally and on schedule. He was available beforehand for me to send an array of emails to choose the best products and he gave advice when needed. We agreed for him to start the work while we were away on holidays to make logistics easier and naturally I was nervous to give up keys to my flat - but there was nothing to worry about - Afrim is extremely trustworthy and I’d happily recommend him. There was a few misunderstandings part way through but they were handled professionally and afrim fixed everything quickly as was my final snagging list. He always arrived on time - which in my experience of tradesmen is extremely rare - some don’t even turn up! I would highly recommend Afrim if you want the job done well and on time by someone who is honest, hard working and full of integrity. I’ll definitely hire him again if I need more work doing!

Afrim refurbished the whole kitchen for us. The work included stripping out the entire old kitchen, stripping of old wallpaper, replastering walls, installing new ikea kitchen and appliances, new tiles and new laminate flooring, all electrics and all plumbing. Afrim is a very honest and down to earth man, he and his team did a great job and kept to the original budget and fully informed me of any extra unforeseen charges, which were all reasonable. We changed our mind about a part of the kitchen after it was already built, he was happy to help us alter it without any fuss. The work area was cleaned at the end of every day. We are very happy with our new kitchen and are even considering to invite Afrim to do more work with us!

Very professional & reliable tradesman, straight to the point, which is making things so easy on a daily basis. He took the time to understand the full scope of work, was detailed focus and worked through the list with his team in a very professional manner. The job was done to great quality standards and it was easy and straight forward to provide feedback. I would highly recommend Afrim and would definitely hiring him again.

Afrim is a brilliant builder. His attention to detail is second to none - our new bathroom looks amazing and was completed in good time with no fuss. Afrim is not only a great builder but also a person of real integrity. I would recommend him to others and hope to use him again for other building work in the future.

Afrim did a superb job with our bathroom refit! We are very happy. He is a skilled tradesman and completed the job on time to his estimate. Would recommend him to friends and will likely call on his services again in the future. He even filled in a few plastering holes in another part of the house for us. He's also a very nice guy, which always helps!
