I hired Ahmet from AA plumbing to fix a leaking pipe on top on my electric boiler in April 2018. He was suppose to come at 4pm but turned up close to 6pm with no messages/ calls informing of the delay. I left work early to ensure that i was there on time. Once he got to the flat he spent about 5 mins tightening a washer (i think) and charged me £100. He said that the work is guaranteed (for a year) and if there's are any issues to let him know. Then 8 months later, the exact same leak started again and I contacted him again. He replied to my first message and said that he's on holiday so I contacted him again when he got back asking when he could come back to have a look. He ignored all my messages ever since and I thought it was really unprofessional and rude. If you have done a poor job - the least you can do is to own up to it and offer to rectify it even at a small fee. Ignoring correspondence from a client is really unprofessional. I have proof to prove this entire exchange from day one. I would never hire him again or recommend him to anyone I know either. He worked around my limited availability, came straight out to assess the issue, sorted one problem straight away, and finished the second part of the job a couple days later as promised.
