aFordable roofing were first-class! Quoted for three days work for two men, job took four days, sometimes with three men. Jamie, the proprietor of the business did not complain once. Finished the job on a Saturday morning. Time, only, will tell if the solution they suggested and provided fixes the problems of our roof but they did a comprehensive job. highly recommended ****

Jamie and his team are very efficient and able to carry out the work promptly. Jamie is also very patient of explaining every question I ask. Overall I'm very happy with the work done.

The first thing to recommend Jamie for was the fact that he rescued us from a previous rogue builder who had botched a roof repair and was supposed to be building a new flat roof for a large conservatory style front porch. However this previous builder ran off and left us in debt and with a poorly constructed roof. Jamie identified numerous issues with the previous work and set to putting it right for us at a very competitive price. Jamie also fitted us in at weekends initially, between other jobs, so that we did not have to wait around to start solving the problems. As work progressed it became clear that the rest of the roof was in a bad state and Jamie ended up re-felting the entire roof for us. He suggested a smart and easily maintainable cloak tile edging and dry ridge system so that the roof would be cement free. Completion was hampered somewhat by poor periods of weather and a few other unforeseen circumstances. However, we are very grateful to now have a sound roof with only quality materials which were all charged at cost. That is there was no mark up on price. Jamie is very conscientious about achieving a quality job and likes his workmen to be courteous and work tidily. He has promised a written 25 year guarantee which has yet to arrive. The original problem with the leaking flat poly-carbonate front porch roof is proving complicated and has yet to be resolved.

Knew a lot about his work, genuinely wanted the job, treated us like people then did a good job. Work seems to have done everything we wanted though winter will be the test. The usual raft of minor problems that come up with any work overcome pretty easily and kept informed throughout. Only cloud is a lack of written guarantee for the work which was promised unprompted, has been asked for several times, but nothing to see.

Jamie was great. Extremely thorough and clear explanation of his plan of work, careful and prompt execution and the finished works are exactly what we were looking for. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others

It's clear that Jamie takes great pride in his work. He turned up on time, and I am very pleased with the job that he did. He also took the time to explain, in clear language, what he was doing at each stage, and why. I would recommend him.

Jamie did a great job on the different roofing jobs I needed doing. He is very passionate about his work and did a very good job of rendering, flat roof work and replacing part of the main roof.

Jamie was very flexible with my additional requests. He went extra mile to bring the raw material for my additional request and didn't charge me any thing extra. he is really 'aFORDable'. Also the work was done in time.
