Andy carried out the work with a high degree of professionalism. He arrived on time and charged a reasonable price. He also gave very sound advice as regards the maintenance of my roof.

Andy replied to the invitation quickly and visited to assess the job next day. He warned me that there would be a wait of 3 to 4 weeks before he could do the work. Not a problem for me. The estimate clearly stated the work to be done; the price was around that which I had expected. Having contacted me first, Andy and his team visited at about the date envisaged. The work, pointing by the front door and the corner of the house was completed in one day. The results have been much admired by my neighbours and we are happy with the result. On the basis of the outcome of this job, I would not hesitate to employ Andy in the future.

AF Building Services wasn’t the cheapest quote, not by any means, but Andy insisted on meeting with me and talking me through the job in detail. This showed me that the cheaper quotes would have left me in a similar position in a short space of time. He tackled an urgent issue with speed, professionally and thoroughly. I felt assured I was in a safe pair of hands every step of the way through the job and the resulting complete house repoint looks spectacular. Andy went over and above by completing some little finishing touches elsewhere that I’d not even asked for, nor did he charge for, such as sorting out rust marks on my upvc. I completely trust Andy and have since referred him on to friends. A rare find.

I'd highly recommend Andy and his team. Andy was very responsive in sorting a time to suit all to come and inspect the issue and then again to work on a fix. This was a fairly quick job to repair a piece from the conservatory which had blown away in a recent storm. The fix was an improvement on the previous application - rather than just patching up to the same standard it's now fixed more securely and will last us well as a result. Whilst working at height and without restricted view to a blind spot from ground level, Andy was able to identify an issue with the render on the external wall at the rear of the house. He took pictures to show me and clearly explained the risks, options to fix, processes and approximate costs involved - all without any hard sell or pushy selling. I will be getting in touch with Andy to price up the work and am happy that his knowledge, competence and professionalism will be stand us in good stead for another good job done.

Andy was communicative, prompt and very knowledgeable. We had our particular problem (mortar gap around window lintel letting in water) sorted in no time. A pleasure to deal with. We've already referred our neighbour to him and will be using again for future work, without doubt.
