We had a slow leak from under our shower into the hall ceiling below. It required part of the hall ceiling being removed to investigate the cause of the leak and then the ceiling reinstated. Part of the shower wall needed some of the tiles removed and re-grouting. I was so impressed by their work that I also got them to re-grout the bathroom floor. Florin and Dorin, who did most of the work, were fantastic. Really first rate professional approach, always on time, clear explanation of what was needed and everything followed up. The hall was carefully protected when the ceiling came down, and it was later re-plastered and painted, to a very high standard. I really think that they are exceptionally good and also really nice people. We will certainly use Florin again and highly recommend him.

Florin and his team did a great job of refurbishing my kitchen and bathroom. Completely renovated and installed a howdens kitchen and did the bathroom from scratch. Quite tricky in small spaces and in an old and uneven Victorian house! Florin was great at thinking of solutions and very mindful of my busy schedule. He also helped with choosing design options, using FaceTime to short list my bathroom sink options was helpful! Would certainly recommend him to others.

I was very pleased with every aspect of their work. They were fast, transparent and reasonably priced. I appreciated the consistent and steady information as to what was happening and I found them to be very trustworthy.

Florin and his team did a fantastic job. Communication was first class throughout the whole renovation, Florin was very patient and he took the time to understand our requests and advise us on the best way to proceed. His team is very skilled, showed oustanding attention to detail, they worked very tidily and were very respectful of the environment they were working in. I couldn't have hoped for a better team to worth with and I will undoubtedly turn to Florin and his team for any future jobs. And in addition to all this, they were all incredibly nice guys. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent work! MFI was hired to renovate my flat in Islington which had been left in a terrible, rundown state by previous tenants. Florin assessed the works with an expert eye, provided a reasonable quote, and carried out all the work calmly and efficiently, to a very high standard, even suggesting better and more cost effective solutions. There doesn't seem to be any aspect of renovation and redecorating work that Florin and his team can't do. Following that first phase, I've used Florin several times more for various projects, often at very short notice, trusting him with keys, and knowing that if he says he's going to get the job done, he does. My flat now looks and feels lovely again. And as if that wasn't enough, Florin's also a really nice guy to work with, too.

Florin replaced our bathroom vanity unit and mirror, including some bits of tiling around the edges. I would hire him again - he was conscientious, explained things well (including when he ran into a problem), left my house tidy, and we were pleased with the overall result.

I'm very happy to recommend Florin and his team. They were punctual, polite, respectful of my home and did a great job. Florin was also very helpful in helping me find the right solution to the shower door I wanted (I had very exacting ideas and he was great at explaining the pros and cons of what i wanted). He was also knowledgable about the possibility of needing a macerator once the floorboards were opened (In the end I didn't but it was good to know all the possibilities in advance). He kept me thoroughly informed at every stage of the job, and his team also cleaned up as best they could each evening. The price was fair (it was the middle of 3 similar quotes although materials were quite a bit more than I'd allowed for) so overall I'd be happy to hire MFI Construction again, and will recommend to others.
