I would recommend Andrew. He turns up when he says he will, keeps you informed on the progress of the job and clearly knows his stuff. He did such a good job he was my first port of call when I needed some replastering doing.

We decided to go with Andrew for our job, when he gave us a very detailed and professional quote. We wanted the outside front of our property painted, but we also wanted to make sure that it was properly prepped beforehand and completely undercoated before the painting. When we spoke to Andrew about the job he completely understood what we wanted to be done and we were reassured that he would do a good job. He completed the work in the given timescale and he did everything we asked him to do and he was very clean and tidy throughout. I also asked him about having a new step built for the front door, and again he knew exactly what was needed. He quoted extra for this work, but he completed it within the same timescale. Since the work was finished we have had many people remarking how lovely the house looks now and our neighbour has asked him to do his front as well. In all we have no qualms about recommending Able Damp & Timber to anyone who wants to be able to hire a reliable builder/painter and to have a job completed properly.
