I would highly recommend Andrew and his team. I agree with positive comments from others regarding honesty, work ethic and reliability. Also, Andrew is excellent at explaining things, helpful with ideas and solving problems. Ours was a particularly tricky project in a conservation area with tricky access up a steep hill. They added a glazed gable end to an old Victorian house (accessed through a new opening where a fireplace had been) and restored a previously derelict outbuilding. We initially knew about a well under the outbuilding and another was discovered on the first day of building! Andrew dealt with all these issues and others. For example, he discovered that the ground level was higher in our neighbours garden and problem solved how to damp-proof the outbuilding he was renovating. The Archaeologist (Rebecca Shaw- also very good) commented that she found Andrew and his team the most polite and easy to work with that she has ever encountered. Neighbours have praised how polite the team were and how hardworking they have been. I wish we had known Andrew from the beginning and avoided using a separate Structural Engineer and Architect. The quality of the finished building is excellent inside and out and people who have viewed it are very impressed.

Andrew and his team are very hard working. They showed up on time and worked long hours to ensure that they completed the job on time. They carried out the work to a high standard and additional requests that we placed on them through out the build. I would highly recommend Andrew and his team and everyone who has see the build have positively commented on his work. His team of workers are very polite and tidy.

We could not give a higher recommendation for Andrew and ABC Construction. We are absolutely delighted with our extension. It has transformed our house! We had been thinking of a home extension for quite some time and had met with a number of builders but never felt confident to commit to the job. Thw first meeting with Andrew was a complete contrast to other builders we had met, he was professional, knowledgable and came across as a genuinely honest and nice person. Our first instincts have been proven right! We commissioned Andrew for both the design and build. Following our first meeting Andrew drafted drawings and then came back to discuss that they were exactly what we wanted. He submitted them to the Council to gain the building warrant and handled any minor queries that came back. This was brilliant as took any extra work off us. The team of tradesman that Andrew employs are excellent. All professional, polite and hard working. Throughout the construction process there was very little disruption to us. Andrew was on site and kept us updated with the progress. Andrew's excellent project management skills were evident throughtout as everything arrived exactly when required and the build was completed weeks earlier than expected. His attention to detail is excellent and the quality of the finish is first class. I have no hesitation in recommending Andrew and ABC construction, in fact my sister is just about to call him as she now wants a similar extension. 

I cannot say enough good things about Andrew and his team. The have been excellent and we are thrilled with the end result. In fact we have been so impressed with their hard work and cheerful, polite and hard working nature that we have already asked them to carry out more jobs for us and are busy planning more! From the very first time we met Andrew we were impressed with his knowledge and serious work ethic which is matched by his highly skilled group of workers. I only wish I had involved Andrew from the very beginning and managed to cut out an architect and structural engineer as Andrew could have done this for us. Andrew and his team worked hard to keep the disruption to a minimum and tidied up after themselves every day. Everyday the team told us what they would be doing and it was done. They impressed everyone including our neighbours who all commented on their friendliness, hard work and tidiness and the quality of the work. I know that we will never look to anyone else for any type of building work again and we cannot rate ABC construction high enough. The job was completed in less than half the time quoted and came in on budget (which was highly competitive). I know we will miss all the guys and we wish them all the best in the future. We are absolutely delighted with our loft conversion. We already had an architect in place, who Andrew worked extremely well with. Andrew had some creative ideas which have only enhanced the finishing touches to the project and he also worked well with the architect and engineer to resolve some issues regarding previous extension work done. Andrew and his team were fantastic, not only with ourselves but also with our neighbours ensuring disturbance was kept to a minimum for them. The project came in on budget and time. Well it ran slightly over planned time but that was only because we were so delighted with the project that we asked Andrew to stay on and renovate the rest of the house!! We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Andrew, not only for the quality of workmanship, ability to keep to price and time, but also due to his genuineness and integrity.

I contacted ABC as I had seen them working on two other houses in my street and requiered a loft conversion> Andrew offered various ideas and we got them to start. The work was carried out effectively and on time. I found them to be very good and the quality of the workmanship was excellent. I would suggest getting them in at the earliest opportunity as they can offer the full design and build packge.

I had almost given up on finding a builder to renovate a bathroom. Apparently it was all problematic. But when Andrew came to look at it nothing was a problem and he and his team eagerly worked at creating a wonderful shower room. The attention to detail and years of experience improving my ideas giving me a fished room way beyond what I believed could be achieved. The attention to detail impeccable. If you want skilled workmen who take pride in their work, and work hard, look no further. I am now thinking of the next project I can get them to do for me.

ABC are first-class honest, reliable and talented builders. Andrew and his team excelled. Andrew's project management skills and communications have sealed the whole experience for us. The extension was built ahead of schedule and to the highest od standards, despite bad weather. The team's individual skills are noteworthy and their work ethic is superb. I would highly recommend ABC and would suggest that you use him for all aspects of the project as he has very talented brickies, joiners, plumbers, ground workers, electricians and plasterers. ABC Construction did what I can only describe as a fabulous job. They were two weeks ahead of schedule and bang on budget. I would recommend Andrew and his team to anyone without hesitation. Andrew did all the project managing as I was at work all the time during the build. The job was to build a single story 5m x 5m extension for a master bedroom and convert existing bedroom into en-suite and utility room. The team of workmen Andrew uses are very hard working and have a good work ethic, they worked 10 hour days and always tided up at the end of every day, they also worked weekends when it was needed. I will be using them again for my other projects. Andrew did all my plans and structural calculations, submitted them to planning and building control, he also project managed the work and made sure that he was on site when building control did there final inspection and sign off. This whole job took less than six weeks to complete the target was eight to ten weeks and it was bang on budget. I would highly recommend Andrew and his team. Norman

I cannot recommend Andrew and his team highly enough. The level of communication, reliability, co-ordination of trades and attention to detail was second to none. The job was a one storey extension with new kitchen, utility and cloakroom as well as refurbishing our bathroom. We were unsure of how to achieve what we wanted as this was the first time we had undertaken any building work. We met with several builders and architects, however Andrew’s expertise in structural engineering and helpfulness made him stand out from the others. He was happy to meet with us every time we changed our minds about something and helped us navigate the process of building from paperwork and permits to finishing touches. Andrew was available at all times and consulted us regularly making sure we were happy with the build. Everything was explained and every question answered. Everyone that worked on the job was courteous and cheerful, always turned up and always worked hard all day; often staying late to ensure a task was completed. The team also worked weekends and our job was completed well ahead of schedule. Building work is never enjoyable however Andrew and his team made it as painless as possible and I would HIGHLY recommend their services.
