Ashley was employed to take out a wall between the kitchen and dinning room, installing a steel beam and making good. The works were carried out in the time frame promised, in a wholly professional manner. I would happily recommend Ashley to anyone considering using him.

Very professional, easy to talk to, keeps to the time agreed on would recommend him to anyone.

Ashley did a great job re routing our plumbing and removing some ancient fittings. Recommended.

We didn't know what to expect from mybuilder.com but we have been really pleased to have found and hired Ashley to do our lounge floor. Ashley always responded quickly to messages, gave a thorough quote and talked us through his recommendations. The work itself is excellent and as we do not live at the property it was essential that Ashley left the house as he found it and he did (with the exception of a much improved floor!). We have already asked Ashley to quote for other jobs and one day it would be great to put a face to the name. Thanks very much Ashley, we have no hesitation in recommending you to others.

Ashley tyurned up as promised with all the tools and equipment and simply got on with the tasks after explaining everything fully. He is a traditional perfectionist with an eye for detail. We are extremely happy with his work and have NO hesitation in recommending him. Ashley has also looked at other bits which we need doing around the house. He is trustworthy, friendly and reliable.

Abacus Design & Build were simply great. Friendly, competitively priced, honest and workmanship was way above what we expected. Ashley was full of great ideas to improve our plans for renovation and worked with us to ensure all the planning applications and permissions were in place and project managed the build for us himself Soon after starting the work it became apparent we had some major underfloor nastiness with joists that were rotten through, a leaking lead mainswater inlet pipe and some very dangerous and dodgy wiring and plumbing that needed sorting. Although this added significant cost and lengthy additions to the work Ashley worked tirelessly to get work done as soon as he could, did his best to keep costs down and again as they escalated worked with us when it became apparent we would have to pay him in a few installments. All in all cannot fault him or his company and will definately be using again for future projects. Happy to be contacted for further references or pics of his work.
