    fuseboard upgrade
Very pleased with the completed work. John was punctual and tidy and kept in touch with me prior to the start date. He gave me good cost information prior to the work being completed so there were no surprises when i had my invoice. John explained everything to me and showed me the completed work includng how the fuse box works. The fault that I knew about beforehand was identified and fixed. I now know how my property is wired.I would strongly recommend this company, John is pleasant, knowledgable and conscientious about his work. I would use again.

Adding extra sockets to 4 rooms

John carried out a fantastic job adding extra sockets to my house. Although this sounds simple, he had to put in a new ring main and radial circuit. My house is a old property and so has a lot of quirks. He dealt with them efficiently and worked to a tight deadline, finishing on time and under budget. He was tidy and friendly and a pleasure to have around the house. I would recommend his services to anyone looking for a great electrician.

    Upgrade mains board

John did a great job and came highly recommended. He arrived on time and carried out the job as requested in a timely matter. He left our property tidy when he was finished and even plastered around following putting in a new light for us. He was friendly, polite and likes a cup of tea :-)

I require a quotation for relocation of a light switch in 2m x 2.5m downstairs newly created wetroom. Connection of an extractor fan already in situ to run off light. Minimum channeling required as studwall is still exposed. Will require an installation certificate and test certificate so fully qualified part P self certified tradesman only please.

I would avoid at all costs in the future!! Job was to move a light switch 1-2 meters and wire extractor for a disabled old mans bathroom. estimated 2/3 hours at £25 per hour. It was made clear that the work had to be self certified as can be seen on job description to sign off work for council. Final bill was £165.00 No receipt given!!! and would not register the job unless I gave him positive feedback!!! I have the text messages to prove he is a blackmailer! The old disabled man in his 80`s was delayed using his bathroom for 2 weeks because of John`s blackmailing. He left 6 holes in the ceiling took 5 hours for a 2 hour job. All in all very disappointing and John is a man of no integrity.

    Answer from tradesperson:

I quoted the job at the price I charged £25 an hour and the hours I was there for , he was given is certificate the same day . He said he would give me positive feed back and yes i did call him as a reminder to leave me feed back . seems strange it as taken him 4 months to do so , back at the time he paid for the job to be done with much resentment . He obviously thought £25 an hour was to much to pay . Typical of some one who wants some think done for nothing . Glad all my other customers are more understanding and recognise a good and honest proffecianal tradesman . Carnt win them all . I did this job as a favour after he had been let down by another electrician . I wonder why !!!!!!!!!!!

    Connection of electric cooker
John was very polite and friendly. He was very concerned about ensuring my cooker was installed safely even double checking with someone from NAPIT. He arrived promptly to give me a a quote and connected my cooker there and then even though it was past 6 o'clock. He charged me a very reasonable price and I would definitely use him again and recommend him to friends and family.

    investigate and repair electrics.
Happy with John's work. He came out to have a look at our electric problems and was able to do the job the next week, thoughtfully leaving us with a plug in light to use until he was able to come out and complete the work. The work was completed quickly and efficiently and seemed reasonably priced.

    Replace existing Storage Heater

John gave me a good idea of the work to be done and an approximate price on the telephone, he then came to the house and took measurements to ensure the heater would fit in the same location as the old one. Once again he clearly told me how much the job would cost. On the day of the fitting he got on with the job efficiently and smoothly and kept me informed of his progress by involving me in what he was doing. When the work was complete he cleaned the Heater and tidied up, leaving the lounge exactly as he had found it. The price he told me and the amount he charged for the workmanship was exactly what he told me before I gave him the job. I would recommend John to anyone, he is very good at his job and deals with unexpected problems quietly and calmly, solving the problem, a first class tradesman.

    Kitchen

John came out and quoted and started work the following week. As he was working on another job he came out late afternoon and worked into the evening on a couple of nights. He worked constantly and thoroughly and is a really friendly person and explains what he is doing throughout the job. Would definitely recommend John to anyone.

    Replace fuseboard

I never met John. I needed someone to replace a fuse board on my mother's house and found him here. Because I wasn't there it was even more important that I found someone who was good at his job, honest and trustworthy. He explained (on the phone) what he was doing, how he was doing it, and when he would do it, then true to his word he did everything as he said he would. He did an absolutely great job. My mum really liked him too. She wants him to come back, but I told her, he's a tradesman, call him when you want something fixing, not just when you want to have a nice chat over a cup of tea.
