What can I say about john ,amazing honest guy , came all the way from Congleton to warrington as I couldn't get my brand new electric oven to work as I thought I needed it to be hard wired in , on coming to my house to have a look at the job after 10pm at night , and started laughing he said it only needs a 13 amp plug as he had the same cooker he went to his van and got a 13 amp plug and fitted it to the new cooker with the cable , what a guy he said to my wife if this doesn't work he'd take our turkey to his house and cook it for us , a truly lovely honest guy who wouldn't take any money or fuel money for his time and efforts , very much appreciated john and thank you again for your time and knowledge . I have submitted supporting evidence of this review to mybuilder to dispute his claims including audio recordings, text messages, valid eicr in situ, and evidence of tenants in situ and date stamped picture of this man’s fabricated fault list taken with audio recording !! I have requested his governing body from mybuilder as his claims are false and he needs to be reported . This house was occupied and had a valid EICR in place till 17-12-24. This chap completed his EICR on 9-12-24 I repeated my independent second opinion EICR on 16-12-24 because I was suspicious about the outcome he gave as I recognised inaccuracies and the unnecessary extra works being generated. The two reports do not concur. I highlighted issues that John raised and was informed faults he has documented are incorrect. I have not paid him. He has threatened legal action, added ridiculous interest charges for late payment and slandered me via SMS. I would advise a second opinion on faults before paying for an EICR.

John is fantastic! Made getting the job done easy from start to finish. Easy to communicate with and excellent at what he does. Whilst completing a full EICR for us, we noticed a couple of odd jobs that needed doing. John was great and made sure he found the time to sort these before he left, finishing them to a high standard and ensuring we were happy with everything that he left behind. I’d definitely choose JP Electrical again in the future
