We hired Simon to put in our kitchen in Spring 2011. We chose him from 15 kitchen fitters that responded to our job, based on the excellent feedback he had already received. Simon arranged a visit promptly, turned up when he said he would (something of a rareity in kitchen fitters in our experience!) and provided us with a very competitive quote. He encouraged us to go for a Howdens kitchen and we're glad we did. The quality is very good and because it's not flat pack, Simon was able to put it in quickly - we were amazed at the speed at which he worked! Simon was very neat and tidy, put up with our 2 year old's incessant questions with good humour and did a really excellent job - we're delighted with the finished kitchen. Simon is a very knowledgeable and honest tradesman and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, in fact, we already have.

Hired Simon to do some work in our loft. He is very good, punctual, friendly and very tidy for a builder! He has done an excellent job and we intend to use him again for other things we need doing on our house. No hesitation in recommending him again.

Simon is a very nice bloke with good attention to detail. I requested he do a small job for us involving a door/frame, and he completed it well and at a reasonable price without any attempt whatsoever to convince me to replace rather than fix. He arrived on time for the job, took the time to call and let me know he would be half an hour late on one occasion, and was more than happy to give advice regarding a few other small jobs I am planning to do myself. I am now considering using Simon for various more substantial projects around my home.

Absolutely delighted with Simon from start to finish. A good price, very skilled tradesman and a lovely bloke! Works at 120 miles an hour ( his words) and we have already recommended him to my mum!

I would highly recommend Simon. He gave a very fair quote, was prompt, polite and very tidy. He also gave lots of good advice and was kind enough to give us some spare bits and pieces that were needed to do the job. We will definitely be calling him for more work in the future!

Would deffinately reccomend simon to anyone wanting work done. He arrived on time and and did an excellent job of fitting my new front door. My sister who popped by was also impressed and took his card for herself, i will deffinately be hiring simon for future jobs as he quoted me the best price but more importantly he did an excellent job and i felt more than happy and comfortable for simon to be in my home.

Simon was absolutely brilliant. Came when he said he would - despite all the snow. Quoted resonably for the job and then solved the problem of my frozen and wrongly fitted pipes there and then. I would hire him again tomorrow with no hesitation.

I can highly recommend Simon. He is an absolute professional, always arrived on time, worked hard all day and the quality of his workmanship is excellent. I will be using him for any future jobs. Simon did a full kitchen refit for me, including installation of the units, appliances, worktops, breakfast bar and tiling. He also recommended and coordinated the other trades required to complete the job (electrics and gas) which meant it was a smooth process. The kitchen now looks exactly as I hoped it would and how the design pictures showed it! Simon was also able to arrange the supply of the kitchen units through Howdens which meant I was able to get a much higher quality kitchen at a lower price. If you haven't arranged the supply then it's definitely worth speaking to him first. Thanks for a great job!

We are pleased with our new bathroom. Simon did a great job. Everything we initially asked for was done in the exact time he said it would take to finish the job. We even managed to squeeze in another few jobs we didn't think of at the start. He has a great knowledge in the trade and listening to his advice made the decision making a lot easier. The plumbing work and hiding them was excellent, good tiling to finish it off made the bathroom look better than we had pictured. Simon kept the place tidy and made sure we can still access the bathroom every night. Would happily hire Simon again when we need other building jobs done in the house. Just have to hope he can fit us in.

He is professional, polite and reliable and did an excellent job of refitting my bathroom. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or to use him again in the future.
