The job was a full interior strip out across 5 floors of a listed building, as well as the client still occupying the basement and requiring some rooms / server room to remain live through-out the project. The site was in central Edinburgh which meant many constraints on space and no ability to have a skip on site. All waste had to be meticulously placed in certain rooms and then placed in wait and load skips several times a week. John and his men had to ensure some portions of the demolition to be done methodically as lots of areas in the building were listed therefore could not be damaged in any way while we had to bring down internal walls and open up floors and cut/chase into walls to strip out and re-instate services. John was always able to increase labour when requested, he had a supervisor on site to ensure the labourers always knew what had to be taken down or left due to the nature of the job and the demolition having to be done carefully through-out the project.

Richard was very quick, responsive and patient throughout our initial communication on the platform. Richard was fair in his quote and was able to accommodate our schedule. After several exchanges to determine the issue we are facing with our toilets, we decided to hire his services. On the morning of service, Richard arrived at the scheduled time and was able to solve the problem without having to charge us for the parts he brought with him since he didn't need to use them. Honest and reliable. We also hired him to assemble our media cabinet that same day and he completed the task beautifully. Will call on his services again. Professional and fair individual.

I would not recommend this tradesperson based on my experience. I paid a £165 deposit for a toilet repair, however the job was repeatedly delayed due to issues with sourcing the correct part. While I tried to be patient and flexible with scheduling, the work was never completed. I was then told the deposit would be refunded, but despite multiple messages, agreed deadlines, and follow ups, I have not received the refund or any further response. Communication has been inconsistent throughout, and I have now been left without the repair completed and without my deposit returned. Unfortunately, this has been a very disappointing experience.

Ryan responded to my advert promptly and arranged to come and do the job quickly which was reassuring as it was a front door lock replacement that was needed. He kept in touch regarding arrival time and was able to replace the lock straight away. We also needed a repair to our bathroom sink and Ryan was able to carry that out too. He was polite and tidy and his workmanship is very good. We won't hesitate to contact him again for future jobs and thoroughly recommend him.
