Rob has been truly wonderful. I had previously arranged for 3 other plasterers to repair a very damp and damaged wall ready for some further carpentry work to be carried out. Each of them for different reasons became unavailable to carry out the work so I was very anxious. Amazingly Rob had 2 days available to carry out the work before the carpenters moved in. He gave me confidence that he was a very competent plasterer. He was astonishingly clean and tidy. He was able to carry out a very neat finish in spite of none of my Victorian walls being straight or square. I am so grateful to him and will recommend him very highly. If you hire Rob you will be extremely satisfied with his work.

If I could give a zero I would. All started fine and the quote I was given was good. From there it went rapidly downhill. I got a text telling me as he wasn’t aware the paper needed stripping before wallpapering that it would be a little over what was quoted, but no exact figure given. As I’d been told he’d wanted cash I messaged the day before saying because I’d not been given an exact price and they want cash, I’ll give them x amount (25% over original price) to which he agreed. Fast forward to the day and my husband was there to let them in, his brother showed up and proceeded to tell my husband the quote isn’t accurate as the paper needed stripping and it would be easier to paper over. Long story short I’m left with a wall that you can clearly see the paper underneath and after agreeing to redo the work, the owner of the business is now avoiding my calls and texts. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
