Hi My name is Peter Miles i am 56 years old I have been painting since i left school in 1986. I started painting and Decorating at a company called Plessey Ltd as a painters mate when i was 17 on the maintenance crew. I worked there until i was 27 then worked for a damp company named Harfords Specialised Services as a painter , i stayed with that company until i was 40 and then decided to go self employed , i now carry out domestic and commercial painting carrying out all areas of painting and decorating , inside and outside work. Fi1O Handyman & Property Maintenance – Price Guide Hourly rates: Standard hourly rate: £25–£30 per hour (labour only, materials not included). Minimum charge: 1 hour per visit. Additional time is charged in 30‑minute increments. Day rates: Full day (up to 8 hours on site): £180–£220 (labour only). Half day (up to 4 hours on site): £100–£120. Travel within Waterlooville and nearby areas is usually included. For longer distances, a small travel charge may apply. Typical job prices (labour only): Painting & decorating: Painting a standard room (approx. 3 m × 4 m, walls & ceiling, minor repairs only): From £180–£220 per room (1 day of labour, materials extra).
