What started well ended very badly. John and his son started work and got around halfway through before starting another job. Knowing full well we had a deadline to meet as carpets were getting fitted, he failed to plan his jobs correctly so decided to walk of the job leaving us in a position where we had to find another painter to finish his work at short notice. He ignored all calls and text messages. I would not recommend John and his son Lee.

With experience in all aspects of painting and decorating from water/fire damaged homes to the ultra-luxurious. My No.1 tip for DIY-ers when decorating is to buy quality tools and quality materials. Head out to your nearest trade decorating centre for the tools, materials and advice. This is much better than your regular DIY superstore because this is where the professionals go! Normally I will be collecting materials from the local decorating centre and then on to pick one of the lads up before arriving on the job at 8am. We meet up with the rest of the team and proceed to start or carry on with our latest decorating project. We paint exteriors as well as painting and wallpapering interior rooms. Our most common jobs are hall, stairs and landings.

Alix is great! From the moment he came through the door to give us an estimate, to the moment he left at the end of the job, he was passionate about his work. He is incredibly conscientious about the quality of his work and his attention to detail is amazing. He did a beautiful job. He clearly never cut corners and he worked to the highest standards as if he was working on his own beloved home. He put in much more time than he'd quoted for without charging extra, was always cheerful and was fastidious in his cleaning up. He is utterly trustworthy. We would recommend him to anyone and everyone who wants a job done well.

My job was last minute, urgent and had a tight deadline, and it also turned out to be much more challenging than we had originally thought. None of this fazed Nick who responded calmly and professionally throughout, adapting to problems and finding solutions for them all, and putting in extra hours to be finished in time. He even replaced a missing door stop without being asked, when he saw that the door handle had been damaging the wall. He's trustworthy, very skilled and takes pride in his work. The finished job was fabulous and I can't recommend Nick highly enough.
