David and his team have done an amazing job on our loft conversion, from start to finish. Came up with some great ideas. Kept us up to date with all that was happening, and when. Our 14 year old daughter is not gonna ever want to leave home, with her own suite upstairs. Would recommend him to my friends, that's for sure. Disappeared off job and started another loft conversion before mine was finished, refused to say exactly when he was returning just kept saying next week, then another week passed and another until he had been gone over 3 weeks. Eventually grew tired of his disappearing act and told him not to come back ... I'm sure he wouldn't have disappeared had I not been stupid enough to have already paid him in full for a job that wasn't yet finished ( should have known better but stupidly trusted him ) only found out by chance that the reason he had disappeared off my job was to start another loft conversion or I would never have known why he didn't come back! ... Now have issue with leaking radiator that should have had new valve fitted but this was not done ... Not a big job it would take 10 minutes to fix but again after 4 weeks of messaging him and promises from him to get it fixed nothing has been done ... Billy is a gentleman and a talented one at that! We commissioned a bespoke hallway cabinet to hide an ugly meter and also have some practical storage. From the beginning of the process Billy was helpful and easy to talk with, he offered advice on suitable wood, features for the cabinet and answered all our queries. We asked JL Construction to quote for internal renovations but it transpired we had an external ground water drainage issue. JLC Ltd were very knowledgable about the problem and carried out remedial works quickly and efficiently.
