I initially hired a contractor based on a personal recommendation, however I soon lived to regret this decision. I then contacted UR BUILDERS who picked up from where the previous contractor left of. The previous builder caused an awful lot of damage to the property and had made a long list of mistakes leaving my property unsafe and inhabitable. Gurpreet took the time to evaluate the situation and provided an itemised schedule of work required to put the job right and to complete the build. This included structural support for chimney, extending pipe work to Reinstate boiler so we had hot water and heating, Superstructure, drains, concrete floor including excavation with DPM, partitions, velux windows, first fit electrics and plastering. The team worked tirelessly, navigating issues with building control in the process. Gurpreet and his team worked through wind, rain in the cold of December to enable me to return to my home. The team are hardworking 6 days a week and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I was unable to complete the job with UR BUILDERS due to budget constraints.

Nanad and his team have been wonderful from day one. We have had them with us a number of weeks doing all the jobs they quoted for and more, they are fast efficient and courteous of the fact we lived in for a lot of the work. Everything has been finished to a great standard and we are thrilled with our house which has been completely transformed. We have already recommended them to friends and will continue to do so and hopefully have them back in future. Very disappointing experience. The job was clearly advertised and agreed at £25 per hour, and this was confirmed again in writing before the tradesperson attended. After I travelled two hours to meet him at the property, he arrived and refused to honour the agreed rate, instead demanding £200 for the job. The issue is not the price itself, but agreeing to one rate and then changing it on arrival. This wasted my time and was highly unprofessional.

Hired Ali to remove wallpaper and to decorate two bedrooms next to some other tasks. It all started quite well with him making good progress in getting off the wallpaper, filling and making good the walls but then it deteriorated rapidity. Project management was chaotic, protection of surfaces spotty and the young guy he brought in to finish the decoration clearly lacked decorating skills and attention to detail. Walls were stripy, paint splashed on carpet, newly set sockets were painted over, Mastic applied around doors and skirting looks dirty and messy and and and….It was me instead of Ali that did the quality control but it was a hopeless task as Ali’s staff clearly lacked experience and knowledge. At the end I’ve just wanted to get them out and accepted a substandard finish. Ali is a nice guy and tries his best, but based on my experience, I could not make a recommendation

Phil of All Builds provided an exemplary service for my project which consisted of leveling all the upstairs floors at a house in SW London. Phil's approach was first class and he offered good solutions and practical advice on the best way to complete all the work. I was also very impressed with how he was able to undertake other trade work such as plumbing, which was required for this project. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Phil and will certainly use him for any other work that I require in the future.
