Our experience with this person was completely at odds with other reviews on this site. The list of problems encountered pretty much defy belief, frankly. We employed K&J to fit a refurbished bathroom and an en-suite. Problems encountered include: cutting tiles inside our newly decorated bedroom, with a power cutter (we were not living in the property at the time) leading to tile spoil all over the room; damaging the new oak architrave around the door with water/tile cement; "losing" our bath taps which cost £250 to replace;fixing the en-suite tiles incorrectly - they had to be removed and replaced at cost to us; his "quotes" for the works rose initially by 50% and he wanted more as time went on; refused to supply an itemised invoice so that we could check what had been spent; was unable to complete the job within an acceptable timeframe; seemed as though he had never fitted a bath in his life - had no idea how a built in shower hose worked and fitted the bath panel the wrong way round; installed chipped tiles above the sink in the bathroom; tiles were not installed symmetrically around the window; a large hole was cut into the bathroom wall to accommodate the electrics for underfloor heating, this fouled the door of the bathroom cupboard and should have been accessed via the outside of said wall. I could go on - but the characters are running out. Would never consider using again, and would certainly not recommend.

I'm not one to ever leave a negative review but after contacting Jack directly, he has ignored us and refused to get back to us to resolve this issue. We hired Jack to fit new vinyl flooring in our kitchen and bathroom. We trusted him and had to be out all day so left the cash for him. We wouldn't have paid him the full amount if we had been there to see the poor job that was executed. There are gaps, wonky lines, uneven areas and rips. Jack also left the bathroom unfinished as he forgot his silicone gun but gave us his word that he would do this after his holiday, this was week's ago and we've heard nothing. I contacted him via my builder to explain our concerns and my husband has contacted him directly but he's not getting back to us. We could barely afford this and now we're going to have to spend it again getting it redone. I will be taking it further but as he insisted we pay in cash we'll probably never see our money again. Do not trust this company or waste your money!
