His quote came through in a timely fashion and the figure quoted was exactly what we paid at completion. Lee gave us an accurate time line for the completion of the work. The new frame and the repainted garage door have improved the external look of our property and we also have the confidence in knowing that is a job well executed. Right on time, friendly, but no invoice. The trader arrived right on time and was very friendly. I had posted a job to install an internal stop tap, but I was not sure if the property already had one. I explained this clearly, and he agreed to come, check, and then quote me. We settled on a price for the installation. On the day, he inspected the property, confirmed that there was already a stop tap, and charged me 80% of the agreed installation price. While the charge felt quite high for simply confirming the stop tap’s existence, I understand that every trader sets their own prices, so I cannot complain about that aspect. The real issue is that, despite contacting him repeatedly through the app for over four weeks, I never received an invoice. This lack of response and failure to provide proper documentation has been very disappointing

Diabolical. Took £4650 cash from us after doing about 5 days work, he seemed to visit when it suited him. He missed deadlines for the template assessor for the quartz workshop. His work was completely rubbish. We got another kitchen fitter to look at his work and he said the work was well below an acceptable standard e.g. 2 wall cupboards had a height difference of about 200mm. His name is Rob Grover. We tried to get our money back but Jamie Leach refused. We took him to court and he’s got two CCJs against him but he’s still not paid . He’s very good at gaslighting! We got Rob Grover in. He had to remove all the work done by Mr Leach as it wasn’t fit for purpose. He also had to take away the old kitchen and rubble. There is another review further down which is almost identical to ours. Mr Leach appears to operate under two or more Ltd companies so is very good at avoiding costs. He is unable to be truthful and will deny any wrongdoing. Please be warned - DO NOT EMPLOY THIS MAN.

Tim put up a couple of extra kitchen wall units for our tenant. Both we as a Landlord and our tenant are very pleased with the work and would use The Stone Sun again when similar small jobs come up. The tenant was quite complimentary about both the work and the workman. Very reasonably priced and The Stone Sun liaised with the tenant to gain access as soon as they were able leaving the place clean and tidy. Everyone happy all round.
