We employed A.V Structures for the building of an external wall around our property, the removal of a garage and the installation of railings and gates. Throughout the 4 week programme we could not have been happier with their work. Arrival was prompt, their pace of work displayed energy and purpose. They were mindful of us and our neighbours and made sure the area was left clean and tidy at the end of each days work.in addition the workmen were courteous and kept us fully informed. Alex, the owner of the company, kept in close contact with us to assure himself of our satisfaction. He came on site at intervals to check that all was going according to plan. We therefore felt completely confident that quality and outcomes were important to him. Employing A.V Structures was a decision we were pleased to have made. We would use them again without hesitation and recommend them highly to anyone considering similar work.

Very disappointing experience. The job was clearly advertised and agreed at £25 per hour, and this was confirmed again in writing before the tradesperson attended. After I travelled two hours to meet him at the property, he arrived and refused to honour the agreed rate, instead demanding £200 for the job. The issue is not the price itself, but agreeing to one rate and then changing it on arrival. This wasted my time and was highly unprofessional.

We hired Ikos construction to replace a kitchen in a tenanted flat. They were fantastic and I would highly recommend them. Christos and Vaggelis estimated it would take 2 weeks and they completed it within 13 days. They built the units off site which minimised the disruption. They kept the site clean and tidy at all times. While it was a small kitchen it was a full overhaul and everything needed to be stripped out and the walls needed repairs and replastering. They even raised the ceiling height to add more space. At all times they were quick to respond to my phonecalls or emails. They ensured the tenants were able to continue living in the flat, cross checking that everything was tidy and the power and water worked for them every evening. The kitchen they have built is excellent quality and they provided me with safety certificates for the gas and electrical work. Since the work was completed 4 months ago there has only been one snagging issue. They returned immediately and fixed it and didn't charge me anything. I am extremely happy with the work and will definitely use them in the future. High standard very reasonably priced and exactly as they quoted. Thank you.

They were great. My new kitchen is fantastic. We chatted before the work started, what was going to happen when, when we needed to get things delivered (kitchen, flooring, taps, lights, fridge, paint etc etc). They kept to the timetable and delivered the project perfectly. They kept me informed when they faced issues (hidden lead pipes that needed tackling, dodgy electrics etc), we worked through the issues as they arose. They even came in and worked a Saturday to catch up time after the plaster took longer to dry because of the cold weather. They were friendly, smiley and they kept an eye out for my inquisitive cats who wanted to help out. They built a temporary barrier to keep the dust at bay and tidied up every night so living amongst the chaos was doable. I have another couple of smaller jobs needing doing and I will be calling them back in. They were skilled at their work and were reasonably priced too. They are now replacing next door's kitchen after I recommemded them.
