Very poor. I agreed to pay half upfront as it was only a small job. Priderock were to supply the decorator and wallpaper paste. The 'decorator' arrived without paste. He had no transport, so in the end I had to stop work and go to the shops to get some. His instructions were very unclear, leading me to spend more than necessary. Finally he got to work, and did a terrible bodge. The boss refused to issue a refund, even though I sent him a video of the 'repaired' wallpaper being so brittle that it crumbled when touched. I'm worse off than I was before they arrived. Avoid this firm.

Hurkan did a highly professional job in replacing nine fence panels in our back garden. He and his colleague worked extremely efficiently, tidied up everything when they had finished and took away the old panels. We considered the price very reasonable for the amount of work involved. In addition we found Hurkan a very pleasant young man to deal with and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

I have been in the building game properly now for nearly 10 years doing both commercial and domestic jobs I started Sjr construction about 2 years ago and have had great feedback from every job but word of mouth is not proving enough to keep me in work all the time so this is why I'm trying other avenues.

We had an extension for a dining room built years ago and decided we would like to have the kitchen knocked into it. This entailed knocking down half the wall of the kitchen which was actually the back wall of the house and putting in steel supports. As well as having the wall knocked down we had a false ceiling in the kitchen and on the walls to cover the pipes that were everywhere from the heating system. We also had a complete new kitchen, which Simon fitted and was involved with right from the start, meeting the designer and making sure everything fitted. This also included new flooring throughout.I cannot praise Simon enough, he gave us a quote and that is what it was, he was there everyday and never let us down and a big plus his work was methodical and always tidy, always cleared up. I had no qualms about giving Simon a key to the house. We are so pleased with the kitchen/dining room and pleased we found Simon.

Poor experience overall. The brickwork that was laid in the garden has already started to come loose, and we ended up having to pay someone else for remedial works. We also hired them for separate jobs which did not go well, and some of which are still unfinished 7 months later. Unreliable and disappointing.

I hired Dursun Altun and his team for a full refurb of 3 bed house. His business co-ordinator Ayse was helpful throughout the whole process and listened to the design requirements we had. Dursun provided full new plumbing and new boiler and all new electrical work. We had all our windows and doors replaced and are happy with the work done. His team fitted new bathroom, shower, toilet and also the kitchen. They also did some carpentry and provided shelves and doors for closets. His team decorated/painted and cleared up at the end of the job making sure it was all left clean and tidy. They did a good job and delivered on time! Dursun and Ayse made sure we were happy with the job and were lovely to work with. The job was done to a good standard and I would recommend them.
