We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

Alex was very particular. He proactively called and came the same day to check the details and gave a quote with reasonable price. He also advised on how to do some things. But did not push for it. For the work he was not sure, he straight away said that he would not do it rather than saying yes for money. He started and finished the job on time. He is vrey hard working and accomodate some minor requests without additional costs. He also bought some material for me. During the job, he always informed me about the progress and encouraged me to come and have a look at the job and give feedback. Alex is very enthusiatic and energetic person and I definitely recommend him. I have already asked him for a quote for another job which he has given. All the best to Alex for his future endeavours and I am sure he will not disappoint anybody I recommend him to.

Anton is a nice guy and provided with a reasonable quote. However when it came to get the job done, it appeared that he’s just moving his workers around from one job to another to keep his clients happy. Agreed Job was supposed to take 2 days , which actually was finished in 5 days- as they worked only 2/3 hours on each day. After 2 days and numerous calls to get the job done, Anton said his workers were busy with other jobs and he would finish the remaining work by himself. However the quality of the work that Anton had done was absolutely poor- had I known this earlier ( before hiring him) I would have painted all by myself..at the end of the work he left a paintbrush with me to touch up the corners of skirting boards when I said the corners weren’t painted properly!! Not hiring ever again…

We wanted to get our kitchen refreshed but not put a whole new kitchen in. Luckily Jerry came in with a lot of passion and some smart ideas. He went beyond what we had originally thought possible in the budget and did a great job putting new tiles and a worktop in. We couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen. Chris inspires confidence. His quote was very reasonable, and he was friendly and straightforward to deal with. He was reliable and very hard-working, working Saturdays and well into the evening to keep to schedule, which we really appreciated. Quick to respond to queries, he did exactly what he said he’d do and finished it to a really high standard. We wouldn’t hesitate hiring him again.
