Quoted very competative before even viewing (went by images). Was on holiday and previewed whilst travelling back!. Honoured price, arrived asap, on time and finished on time. Good clean replacement worktops with new sink, taps, hob and making good. Cleaned up from cutting in hallway and got rid of rubbish. Other builder quotes charged extra for the latter when they turned up and much dearer. Thanks John great job, advice and extras.

Installation of a kitchen worktop by a chap namely TOM. This was the most shambolic installation work of a kitchen worktop I have ever witnessed. As and when this chap arrived on site I clearly requested that great care must be taken not to damage the plasterboard walls of the kitchen room in question. I even agreed to extra cash payment for the work to ensure he takes great care for the same. On the contrary I can only describe this guy as a butcher and not a tradesman as he portrays himself, he has no respect whatsoever for other peoples property. It was in fact discovered after he left that he actually punctured through the plasterboard in question whilst attempting to rectify his substandard workmanship using a rusty wood chisel as a leverage. I could ramble on and on, the bottom line is in my eyes he is not a tradesman to be carrying out work in peoples homes and not only on garden sheds. He is capable of destroying your home.

Stephen and his team have done a really great job fixing up our tired hallway, landing and stairs. We had quite a few bits we wanted doing including plastering, various bits of carpentry (new skirting boards, architraves, and replacing the banister), adding a new light switch and changing the lights in the hall to downlights, putting the radiator pipes in the wall and laying some flooring in the hallway. Stephen did a great job with the plastering and carpentry and arranged the other contractors for the electrical and plumbing work. Stephen was really easy to work with. We were able to get a quote quickly and was able to be on site within a few weeks. He was really helpful throughout and went the extra mile to help us find the skirting board we were after. We're really pleased with the finish of the job and it's looking so much better than before. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stephen and C&A contractors.

A great job done by a very skilled joiner and nice guy. I would highly recommend Danny for any joinery needs. Danny was the first to accept my invite to quote and I was impressed with his prompt communication. He was able to come and price up the job within a couple of days and I immediately accepted the quote which was very reasonable. Job booked in and has now been completed to a high standard, with Danny transforming the cupboard space in my kitchen island to a lovely breakfast bar. Very impressed and so I have asked Danny for further quotes in respect of other potential jobs we have! Thank you Danny!

We were in a really difficult situation where we’d been let down by previous builders and Jerry came to help us when most tradespeople didn’t want to come near the job. He was empathetic and understanding, he communicated really well with us about what he was doing at every step, he made a lot of effort to keep the costs down and keep the house as dust-free as possible and was fab with our kids. Lee did a brilliant job. Great communication. Excellent professionalism throughout. The design of the kitchen was quite complicated and the Ikea cupboards were tricky to understand, in addition there were a number of complications but Lee always asked first if he had to do anything different and had accounted for everything in his estimate which was good value for all the work he did. I would recommend him and have him back to do any other jobs that might need doing. Everything was kept clean and safe throughout. We're really enjoying the new kitchen and tiling in the bathroom.

We are so happy that we hired Zak and team for our full kitchen refurbishment. He was incredibly friendly, professional and communicative throughout the process from the initial quote to managing the project. He was extremely helpful and responsive, finding clever solutions when various unforeseen issues arose such as needing to organise a plasterer and painter at short notice and solving some tricky issues with the kitchen design. We felt the project overall was great value and appreciated how fair and transparent Zak was with costs. I don’t think there is anything DIY/building related that Zak can’t do! His tiling and attention to detail in particular is very impressive. He is clearly very experienced and he cares a lot about doing a good job. We are delighted with our kitchen and we cannot thank Zak enough for all his hard work and patience. He is not only an amazing builder but also a truly lovely person and we will definitely be using him again for future home projects.

We cannot begin to put into words how hard these two lads worked, ending up with a absolutely fantastic kitchen. They were on the job before 8 am every morning, ate lunch on the go and left when that day's jobs were finished - Cannot fault their work ethic! They gave us a day by day update on expectations of progress and never failed to live up to their promises. On top of all that, they are two of the nicest and most polite workmen we have ever come across. Their standard of work is second to none, nothing less than perfection. They never left anything with a "That'll do" attitude. They completed the whole job in the time frame they had stated whilst maintaining the highest quality of workmanship. Not only did they plan and fit our kitchen, they also built a studded wall creating a utility room, plastered walls, boxed in pipework, tiled walls, fitted the extraction hood, laid a laminate floor and organised an electrician, a plumber and a gas engineer. All this schedule was planned by MK Joinery resulting in the job finishing on time without any delays. After completion we received a phone call and even a visit to ensure we were totally satisfied with the finished job. Obviously we were, and are delighted. We certainly would highly recommend MK Joinery with confidence and without any hesitation.
