I have been a carpenter since I left school. I started off as an apprentice in a joinery shop, making all sorts of joinery including window doors and stairs. I then went onto making and fitting kitchens, which lead to me working for a carpenter building barn conversion houses and timber frame buildings where I learnt the majority of my trade skill set.
