I have worked in the construction industry for over 20 years and specifically in woodworking for over 17 years. After completing a two year City&Guilds qualification in furniture making and installation I have worked for joinery and building companies covering all aspects of woodworking, both as an employee and on a self-employed basis. I have pretty much done everything from cutting in the roof carcass to fitting the floors and skirting, along with everything in between. I particularly enjoy 2nd fix work as that requires the most detailed work and is satisfying, but I am equally at home doing 1st fix work. I have been fortunate enough to work on some prestige projects, especially when I worked for a local building firm in the role of head carpenter and site supervisor. During that time I was able to train up an apprentice and pass on the knowledge and skills I have gained over the years. I not only take great pride in the work I do but also in providing a friendly, polite and efficient.

We are extremely happy with the end result. Toby is absolutely amazing and the detail that goes into his craftsmanship is incredible. He listened to what we wanted, gave us suggestions and then send us a design of the under stairs unit storage to give us a visual of what it was going to look like. From start till finish he did an amazing job and he really went above and beyond for us. We will definitely get him back in to do more work for us and will definitely recommend him to family and friends!

Mark was employed to complete the extensive groundwork's required for our single storey extension and loft conversion. This involved demolition of outbuildings and laying of foundations for our new kitchen, utility and cloakroom. The work involved planning a new drainage system, building over existing sewers and deep trenches. He then went on to build the structure with bricks, including adding steels etc. Mark kept me well informed, he was punctual, professional and polite. The site was kept safe and clean. As the work was done over the winter months, with some of the time us living on site, this was particularly important. I had to put my trust in Mark completely with this project as it was complicated at times and he didn't let me down. The end result of our build has totally transformed our home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mark and use him again in the future.

I specialise in fitted furniture, wardrobes, alcove storage and hand built kitchens but am happy to take on carpentry and joinery jobs too. I've been self employed for around 5 years and previously worked for Sustainable Kitchens in Bristol and before that Ashwood Interior Woodcraft in London after completing my NVQ 2 in cabinet making at Leeds college. I have also renovated three properties of my own in which I've gained good experience in most aspects of the building trade. I provide full 3D drawings using Sketchup working with customers to achieve a design that works for their space I live in Stroud with my wife and two young daughters. When I'm not working I love spending time with my family, walking our labradoodle, playing tennis and playing guitar in my band.

We live in an 1800’s cottage - nothing is straight! After doing such a fabulous job building us a bespoke wardrobe, Jake came back to build a bespoke wall unit, matching desk, a boiler cupboard (which he matched perfectly to our existing kitchen units) and a wood store in the garden! His craftsmanship is outstanding and such attention to detail. To top it off he’s a lovely guy, was always on time and very tidy. Would highly recommend!

Darren was so professional and reliable. I was so pleased with how he massively improved my kitchen after another tradesperson bodged it. He then built a unit for storage under my stairs exactly how I imagined it. He was so helpful and even put up shelves and did other little jobs around the house for me. I can't recommend him enough.

Stephen Anderson replaced my old shower tray, enclosure, shower unit and removed the Marbix which was fitted to the walls around the shower area. He also tiled where the Marbix had been. I'm absolutely delighted with the work he has done and the professional way he went about the job. He was very punctual, worked in a very clean and controlled manner and treated my home with great respect and the price was reasonable.
