Yosef was a breath of fresh air as he was professional in his approach and was always very accommodating to our family needs. He was patient too as we changed our minds several times so we are grateful to him for that. He doesn't rush his job and he takes pride in his work and the entire bathroom renovation was done to a very high standard. He suggested colour schemes we could use to brighten up our bathroom and toilet and it was lovely to see it come together. We are happy with the work Hekmat has done for us - he has really improved the appearance of our 5 radiators (not 4 as in the initial job request) by thoroughly cleaning and applying 2 coats of paint to their visible external surfaces (front, top, sides, pipes) and also painting walls behind and skirting boards underneath. Hekmat also improved the appearance of the wall above one of the radiators where the wallpaper was coming away. Although Hekmat was willing to disconnect the radiators in order to paint the backs, on reflection we realised it would not be worth doing for the extra cost involved. Overall Hekmat charged £220 for the work including the cost of the radiator paint. Hekmat agreed to come out the morning after the job was posted to assess the work required, and we arranged for him to do the work the following day. He arrived punctually on both days. He discussed and agreed with us what paint to use for the radiators and bought this himself, while he used paint we already had for the walls and skirting. We found Hekmat to be reliable, polite, friendly and understanding of our requirements. On the strength of this work we are now arranging for Hekmat to do more work for us in the coming weeks.

Was really impressed with these guys. Helped me order the correct garden door and then went to pick up extra bits when the order didn't turn up correctly, for no extra cost and couldn't have been nicer about it, even though it was a pain for them. Really cheerful and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Would use them again, for sure.

Boris and his partner were very good at their jobs. I bought an Ikea kitchen which they fitted in efficiently. Even when there were some complications such as needing to cut into a wall to fit a pipe, they resolved them and stayed within the time frame given in the beginning. Overall very happy with the service, not so much with ikea. You probably wont regret hiring these guys.

We have had quite a bit of work on our property in the last few years and the final project was to be our bathroom with the focus around a beautiful copper bath which has been sitting in the spare room waiting to be installed for nearly a year. We needed a company that could deliver a very high standard of work at a competitive price. Top building were not only very fair and competitive but wonderfully detailed in their approach both in quoting and their workmanship which is second to none. Vladimir and team understood the project from day one – made a few trips before hand which built the relationship and made myself and my husband very comfortable with our decision to instruct Top Building. What I enjoyed most is that Vladimir made great suggestions and offered money saving advice. Nothing was too much trouble and I really felt the team got behind the project. The knowledge and expertise is of an exceptional level. We had a few odd jobs that needed to be done which the team (Evo and Dimitri) welcomed and efficiently completed. I very much appreciate the patience and flexibility shown by the team and Vladimir’s brilliant way of keeping us informed every step of the way. Bathroom was totally refurbished including new Walls, plastering, electrics, tiling and new boiler. It really has been a pleasure working with the team – I will most certainly be recommending them.

Richard is a perfect fit for those who want a job done to a high standard and according to one’s own preferences He will always go the extra mile to make your design a reality (where others told me it was not possible) I went for quite an unusual kitchen design with darker fittings and cracked gold tiles with an off gold floor But the final result is fantastic My partner and I are very very pleased with the final result Although it was a small space, it has been designed so everything is where it should be If you have a project that major suppliers tell you is too complicated, ignore them and instruct Richard You will not be disappointed

Marius was very active and responsive before taking the job. We decided to install a different type of door in the end to avoid swapping the fridge and kitchen units. I also asked him to replace four doors on top of installing the kitchen one, Marius did an ok job. He made some mistakes, which I pointed out, some he fixed (the painting on the doors had some non-professional-looking drops which I had to ask to sand), some he didn't. For instance, he mounted a knob on the wrong side of the bi-fold door. When I asked him if he could come back to fix it, he ignored my message. He also painted the door with the knob already on, which means that once we reposition the knob we'll have to paint there again. He also asked to be paid on a daily basis *after* he started the job. When I asked why he gave an improbable explanation: "What if I'm sick tomorrow?". I never received such a bizarre request (and reason) before: payment is after the job is done unless, of course, we agree in advance for a different arrangement. Overall I'm not very happy and I would not hire him again.
